Undine, The Drowned Siren

Common Names: The Drowned Sired, The Silent Seductress, Swallower of the Seas, Lady of Song and Sky, Mistress of Salt, Storm-Mother   Domains: Water, Sailors, Song, Winds, Beauty, Ships and Water Travel, Seduction, Sea Monsters, Fish, Birds, Storms   Mantra: "We shall prevail with The Lady's figure beneath our feet and her song in our sails!"   Followers: Tide-Callers. Those who spend their lives at sea may come to know Undine. As much as she can impart freedom on the high seas, she can also be a cruel mistress who seduces men with tall tales and tragedies, but promises treasures. Rumors of her followers being able to breathe water as if it were air, and swim like a shark following a trail of blood. It is thought that those who betray Undine, are transformed into mindless sea creatures to wander the seas and serve as her slaves.   Symbol: Sextant in the shape of a treble clef.   Description: Undine may be the only entity upon whose ears the muffled screams of those who drown at sea fall upon. She is said to respond with a song, without ever moving her lips, her humming enthralling and seductive, the most beautiful sound one can hear in either life or death. Her face and figure are equally as stunning as is her voice. Thin and strong figure, with acute facial features. Her skin, a grey-blue, always appears to be damp and is cool to the touch. Her long blonde hair is perpetually moving, as if floating in the water or blowing in a gentle breeze. She moves as if she is water herself, dancing and barely able to hold form.   She carries two bidents, for a total of four tines, each representing a different cardinal direction on the compass rose. It is said, the resonance of these forks can control the winds and tides. She communicates in song, and even when she is speaking, her cadence is musical. While she is capable of speaking in both air and water, if she were to actually speak underwater, her connection to the element could spell disaster for those present, including Undine herself.   Relic: The Rosevane of the Songstress
