City of Dreamless Dreamers. City of the Elves and tradition. Those with Elvish blood are born with nigh immortality relating to the effects of time and aging. As such, they are regimented in their traditions of exploration, acquiring knowledge, mastering a skills, and other interests that literally take multiple human lifetimes to accomplish. As a race that does not require sleep, but instead enters a meditative state while resting, the city has become infatuated with dreams, and many have taken up the practice of oneirology, the study of dreams. There have even been records of some cases where Elves have managed to enter a dream-like state, and experience what the other races take for granted. Recently a group calling themselves, The Elucid Dreamers has captured the attention of the people, promising any Elf the ability to dream.
