La Grotte

An ancient city of Dwarves with a massive cavernous entrance carved into the stone façade one both sides of the outlet where the fresh and salt waters meet. The series of tunnels join and terminate at a massive underground cavern where the city’s residents dwell. Fresh water cascades from the above river, providing the needed hydration and then carries further into the earth by means of a natural aquifer. The subterranean inhabitants have an obsession with rock, stone, and ores of all types.
