Session 3: No seriously, into the forest. Report

General Summary

2nd Igdi of the month En. (5th)

As the Party finishes with the chores set to them by the Proprietor of The Hardworking Disciple, they join together for a breakfast meal.   Finerdhil walks in a joins them, questioning their motives and purpose here. Once he seems content, he offered the name of a store that could provide them with supplies The Traveling Tree.   As Savaeris and Rue stay behind to collect items and prepare the wagon for the quest, Peren and Thaelin walk to Thaelin's old home to find some supplies. They leave with a fishing line and an old backpack of Thaelin's. Peren also finds a plant called Nalu out front that he knows can be used as an antiseptic that could help along the route if processed.   Genris and Sterling head to the shop to see if there is something they can find to help on this journey. Entering the establishment they see dried herbs and plants everywhere in a shop full of random items. Meeting Lana Elaroth, owner of the Traveling Tree, they find a number of items (Rope, standard spices, 1 gallon of Anular Honey, a three dose vial of a very hot spice that is just labeled test 1 (made with goat urine), and some healing salve.   Once the group meets up, Genris notices that the blanket his sister bought, is now formed into a mysterious cloak.   The party heads off into the forest as Genris tells some of the story of what happened to his sister to Thaelin.   The party makes camp near a rock overhang, using their magic to keep warm and dry they set out to cook a mighty meal full of a number of items found around and a single tomato. using the new spice called test 1, they were able to make a fantastic stew.   While this is going on Genris notices a strange glow in the tree. Climbing the tree, he finds a glass cube that was refracting the moonlight. Rue taps on the outside releasing a message recorded by one Ferdinand Growort.
Hello, My name is Ferdinand Growort. I have started wondering the Sacred forest in search of…something. My purpose maybe, I am not quite sure. All I know is that I am feeling the pull to continue on. I am recording this for posterity and hopefully to keep me sane as the forest seems to change daily. I sleep on a path that when I wake is a stream, or bushes turn to trees. It is an odd thing. Well time to head off for the day, I hope that the forest lets me continue.
As they sleep, each person takes watch, well 2 of 3 as Sterling falls asleep during his watch. Awaking to a squirrel throwing an acorn at his face angrily, he manages to convince Savaeris that watches were adequately made.

2nd Tassar of the month En. (6th)

In the morning, Rue announces that she remembers the name from the cube, an old inspiration of sorts and was a Bard himself.   The party continues on without much to see but trees as at about 2 in the afternoon, they find a clearing and a small hut.
In a clearing somewhere in the Forest lies a small hut. It almost blends in with the background it it wasn't for the chimney sticking out of the top. Moss covers the structure, hiding the branches and logs that seem to hold it up. Beside this small hut you can see a wild garden with pumpkins starting to show their color. The door is barley visible in the front, off kilter and made from reeds.   You arrive to find in front of this hut a group of small woodland creatures, gathered around a very large rabbit, standing on two legs, speaking to them. The woodland creatures seem to listen intently as the rabbit speaks until it looks up at you and they scurry away.
The strange creature speaks out, asking the party to join her inside for a cup of tea. All but Thaelin joins as he starts to ask a nearby rabbit of what is going on. The oddly rude rabbit did not help much with information but gave a mood of wary.   Inside the hut, the creature announces herself as Lady, giving her story of becoming a rabbit creature. Then as she fixes tea, ask many questions of the players, seemingly switching from grilling to pleasant at a drop of a hat.

Lady

Lady stands much taller than any normal rabbit, with aging dark grey fur and long ears that flop behind the head. Lady has brown eyes with a constant look of weariness with bursts of madness. They wear a long patch-worked vest and breachers with a large satchel draw across the chest. Leather bands stretch accross most of their fingers like rigs with a single four leaf clover sicking out of Lady's vest pocket.
The group, interested and enthralled with such a creature take no heed of the tea as they are paralyzed by the drink as Thaelin walks into the hut seeing what has become of the rest of his party. The rabbit creature smiling on one end of the hutt and the sound of a bear behind.
