Session 2: into the woods we go Report

General Summary

We started by diving deep into the sea of Peltum city. There we found Thaelin Riverhart eating lunch with he friend, Erwel Thelgo. Erwel invited Thaelin on an adventure to a nearby ocean cave to explore some sounds that they heard. Diving deep into this cave, they found bio-luminescent mushrooms lighting the floor. Reaching a round room, a deep black tear appeared and within it, a mysterious shadow creature. The creature started to push its way out of the tear reaching for Thaelin. As he backed up, he was blocked by Erwel. A crazy grin to his face he pleads with Thaelin to continue on and be shown understanding and knowledge. Stuck between a tear and a betryal he called out to Airen , a sea spirit. Speaking to him, this fickle spirit protected him with a bubble of energy. The bubble then shot up, phasing through the coral and 100 feet into the air above the water. While en-route, Airen asked Thaelin to look into the creatures and dropped him off at a river leading into the sacred forest. Unfortunately Airen dropped the bubble high above the water, plummeting Thaelin to the water. Recovering from the fall Thaelin continued down the river where it turned this way and that within the forest and came to an end at the shoreline north of Tivr. Exiting the water, he found a creature attacking an older man. Being caught in action, the creature retreated into a tear and dropping the elder elf to the ground. Standing over the body, Genris, Peren, and Sevaeris catch a glimpse of the water living elf and immediately go to the aid of the elder elf. As the elf came back to consciousness, he announced himself as Finerdhil Gwamiel, Magister of Tivr. The group helped him into town and into Archanon's for a drink and rest. The party met Sterling and Rue there and introductions were given to the new member and Archanon's Uduin, or Archie. After much food and drink, they take the Magister home and continue to their own lodging. Thaelin goes to his parents house and finds it empty, with only a note stating they headed into the forest to find silk worms. Savaeris, Sterling, Rue, and Genris all stay at The Hardworking Disciple. Awaking at the Inn, they all assisted in gardening, where Savaeris accidentally pulled out a whole strawberry plant. Savaeris and Genris the shoed one of Rue and Sterlings donkeys. 2 attempts and a bruised sternum later, they were successful. Peren and Thaelin all make it to the inn for the breakfast provided. At this moment, the Magister enters the room stating "We need to talk".
