The Scree

The Scree is King Can's domain, a coastline of steep hills and valleys beside the Mother Sea made of rubble and other rubbish that has been shifted by the wind over the years. The Screepeople have burrowed into the piles of junk here, learning quickly how to shore up and support these hills so they can maintain living spaces within. The Screepeople are varied and filled with lust for life, fusing every culture from across the planes. They are adaptable in the extreme, seeing the value in everything others throw out and holding numerous festivals throughout the year. The Scree's main settlement, Overlook, is a riot of colour, covered with scraps of material, paint and bright flowers until it can be seen from high in the air. Similarly, the people of the Scree wear the most colourful clothes they can. Dyes and paint are highly prized, as many colours can only be obtained through salvage or by venturing into the Outerlands to track down plants. Those in power are likely to wear a clashing cacophony of different hues.
