Cor Benefius
The most central, and often-purported 'greatest' kingdom on Terra Prime, Cor Benefius is a great industrialized city sheltered by the Calathis Mountains to its east. Bordered by the most fertile and temperate land on the continent, Cor Benefius was able to rise to power by leveraging a collection of nearby towns and farms into joining together their resources and creating a bustling capital for defense, trade, and industry.
The most renowned artificers of airship technology within the Cor-founded Aeronaught's Guild, under the watchful eye of King Kieran and the Military Cor, and over the past century, Cor Benefius has become the seat of the largest and most imposing fleet of airships on the continent. Because of the city's position in the center of Terra Prime, airships are necessary to create a system of trade with the other nation states on the continent, and both the goods carried on them and the airships themselves have been a great aid to the further growth and development of the city through stable, mostly-peaceful connections with the other nations, especially Iracan to the Northeast.
The nation of Cor Benefius is ruled under a monarchy, with the Regent King Kieran holding absolute power over the city and its surrounding territory. A council of wealthy nobles and military advisors known as the Corean Assembly swirl around the throne and assist the King in keeping a tight reign on his kingdom, its alliances, its military, and its fleet of airships, as well as acting to oversee the ministries of commerce, war, interior, and development respectively.
Considered somewhat of a 'secular' kingdom, Cor Benefius does not hold idol worship of any of the three gods uniquely - instead, temples and worship of all members of the Triptych Pantheon, as well as the World Dragons, exist within its borders. The ruling class, including King Kieran himself, hold particular worship for Chime, the Light Bringer - seeing him as the ancestral 'founder' of Cor Benefius who gave the city its prosperity. The symbol of King Kieran, and therefore the city-state he rules, is a golden dragon twisting around a great sword.
