King Kieran

The militaristic ruler of Cor Benefius, King Kieran is a storied hereditary ruler responsible for expanding the military might of his nation-state and creating a standoff with the neighboring nation of Raspitonha. The uneasy ceasefire has held for more than ten years, with the two nations meeting yearly at the onset of the light time at Bala’zar’s crown to negotiate a continuation of the uneasy truce.

King Kieran is headstrong and competent as a leader, and is well known for completely disregarding the advice of the nobles in his court when it comes to matters of state. Under his rule, Cor Benefius has more than tripled its airship fleet, expanded trade to New Alithian, and expanded its hold over and the production of its ample farmland surrounding the city itself.

King Kieran has never wed, much to the chagrin of the noble houses of Cor Benefius. He holds an iron grip on the throne, and as a fairly young ruler, seems to have many years left in his reign, despite not having an obvious successor.
