General Sabitha Lorken

General Sabitha Lorken, the youngest General of the Council of Merchants, is the last surviving member of House Lorken. Lorken, a bird native to Esk, is a raptor that hunts in the frigid northern sea. Her family hold was destroyed by an attack from the Blight, and she was found standing over the corpse of several shifting creatures of night, wounded near to death but leaning on a spear. She enrolled in the regiments of Esk, and fought for years until she was promoted - before being elected as the youngest ever General. Some say she was pushed forward by Handon Halibut, who saw her as a potential ally for his reforms, but she has remained a staunch opponent to those reforms for the three years she has been in her new role.
