Faerun

The largest continent on Torril, Faerun is a sprawling land full of wonders and contradictions.  Although much of it is medieval and organized around city states, pockets of radically more advanced civilizations exist throughout the continent, typically relying on scavenged extra-planar technology to keep their miraculous civilizations afloat.
The west of Torril is known as The Sword Coast, and is largely defined by three major cities; the icy Neverwinter in Icewind Dale, the crime-ridden southern city of Baldur's Gate, and the "city of splendors", Waterdeep.
