Jadvigal
Ancient (though having become so only very recently) sapphire dragon paladin (oath of the watchers), co-founder of the Torrentha Academy alongside her nearly life-long partner Audrarith. Is the much more serious one of the pair, and seems to push her partner away from her moral uncertainties towards always choosing "the greater good" (in a utilitarian sense, of the most good for the most, even if the good of the few needs to be sacrificed). Was previously a leading figure in the Republic's military, she stepped down about a decade ago due to political concerns of conflicts-of-interest (given the government's exploration of incorporating adventurers, who are predominately academy-trained, into the military). For much of the current academic year, was serving as a lead Paladin instructor. She most often presents herself in humanoid form as a sapphire dragonborn clad in metallic armor and wielding a legendary Holy Avenger. Has the nickname "Jadzia", as used by close friends (e.g., Halimath).
She became quite the central figure in the geopolitics of Omros since the events that were kicked off by Halimath's escape from prison. Accused of treason herself, the rejection of this claim by the academy (and a fair number of western and southern provinces) eventually became the fulcrum by which the Montspring Compact fractured off from the Ixlan Republic. Jadvigal began serving as the interim High Magister of the Compact, a role in which she was both Head-of-State and Commander-in-Chief of this now rebel nation. On November 28th, 724, the day after war was officially declared against the Compact and the Academy, she and her partner undertook their Ritual of Maturation to become ancient dragons, a move which they are attempting to play off as a declaration of power and strength to protect the Academy-aligned provinces (but which the PC party and those aboard the Gentle Night know the true primary reason for: to have a willing ancient amethyst dragon to power the skystone engine). After the negations forming the Union of Omros and negotiating a peace treaty with the Dinalthian Dynasty in early 11th-Month of 724, she has been leading the efforts to reform the interim government of the Compact into the permanent constitutional kritarchy government of the Montspring Magisterium, in which she would continue to serve as Chief Magister (perhaps in perpetuity).
She is generally skeptical of the young dragon trio due to their extra-planar origins, with a particular tension with her counterpart Jadzia.
Simulacra and Alternate Identities
Thundersnow
While reticent (for several centuries in fact) to have a simulacra made of her, with the pressing needs of the flying city project, Jadvigal elected to have one made to fill in for her roles at the academy (while she focused on preparing the flying city to become their primary lair location). And so, Thundersnow the simulacra was created in the lead up to the harvest festival, and began to fill in for her duties, which included giving the speech at the harvest festival. This changed since the declaration of arrest for Jadvigal, however. With Jadvigal re-adopting her role in the spotlight, particularly in taking up leadership of the Montspring Compact, Thundersnow switched to overseeing construction efforts at the flying city site under a half-elf alternate identity (Commodore Ashryn Jade). Since she was created by Snowsquall (now Rhiwa), she will be remaining a simulacrum (under the condition that Rhiwa never creates a simulacrum again). Upon the discovery and successful exploration of the Sanctuary of the Five Worlds, she has volunteered (as, somewhat uniquely a willing being who needs neither sleep nor long rests) to remain indefinitely within the sanctuary to both oversee the relay console and prevent any others from entering (thus securing the site).
