Lady Nela'landrax Avendire (a.k.a. Knell)
Once upon a time, a woman judged for her heritage and indebted to the first man to show her kindness entered an abandoned temple, and from then on sang to the dead and dreamed of shadows tearing her apart.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
She is quite short and stocky in contrast to much of her family, with parchment white skin of a Highblood Infernal, curling ram horns on the side of her head and sharp teeth. She is still very quick and sneaky, with a few, light scars from events after she left home.
Identifying Characteristics
A scar in the shape of the Traveller's symbol that was later tattooed over. Also multiple, colourful soulmarks on her skin from the touch of her friends and family.
Special abilities
Her connection with the Traveller as a cleric of his gives her access to holy spells and some that he specially taught her. Due to her parents, she also has some knowledge of melee fighting, sneaking around, and the really painful and dangerous places to aim for.
Apparel & Accessories
Tends to wear bright clothes such as dresses with leather armour on top. The colours she chooses are usually rather clashing but she somehow manages to make them work. Her constant wear is the cloak with the Traveller's broach and the jewellery for her ears and horns, as well as gloves and wristbands and other things to hide as many of her soulmarks as possible.

Knell was entirely home tutored by her parents and their employees. While her dubious attention means she knows a lot about some things, it also left her entirely bereft of knowledge of a lot of real world realities.

A habit of compulsively, obviously lying to people when they ask personal questions. Underlying issues of emotional control from her repressive upbringing. If you don't trust your kids, they're not gonna trust you!
Morality & Philosophy
Knell has quite an interesting approach to morality. While she views most everyone as a potential friend and tries to treat everyone with respect, always leaving something behind for what she steals, she also heavily weighs those she cares for over others. This is mostly a problem because she has no compunctions about just hurting people that have bothered her or those she cares about, even without being given any inclination that those people are actually bad or deserve it.
