Coming from the Great Tree, the elves quickly settled the Northern and southern portions of the forest. In order to run all of their camps, the elves declared that their scout, Celevos Eltrial, becomes the leader of the elves.
Begins after hundreds of thousands of years of tribal civilization and pre-recorded history.
Coming from the Great Tree, the elves quickly settled the Northern and southern portions of the forest. In order to run all of their camps, the elves declared that their scout, Celevos Eltrial, becomes the leader of the elves.
The Orc Tribes in the Swamps of Greshk start a 12 way war in an effort to claim dominance over each other.
The human civilizations in the Angel Desert, the Border Savannah, and the Moon Forest meet in the village of Thlane to form a defensive alliance against a possible orc invasion. The villages of the Angel Desert argue with the Moon Forest and Savannah villages against the central city of the alliance; which causes the Moon Forest and the Savannah to back out of the alliance deal. The Angel Deserts unite under the flag of Thlane and declare the Kingdom of Thlane, meanwhile the Savannah and the Moon Forest combine into the Kingdom of Bevaria.
Mavroune takes control of Mavrouneberg and installs himself as king of the village.
The many Republics located on Eastern Cordia meet in Amare to form a Confederation of their Republics. The leaders of each republic are placed in the nation's senate as permanent seats. The republic started to divert most of its efforts into the research of new technologies and the expansion of its capital and its cities.
The Thlanish Empire declares war on Bevaria to seize the Border Savannah. The Thlanish are badly beaten back by the Bevarian army and are forced into a peace agreement. The disastrous defeat of the Thlanish sparks some conflict between the Thlanish villages.
Frederick Mavroune declares himself the king of men, believing his nation the only one in the world.
The Elven Dynasty finds and settles what would become its capitol of Port Mawrth.
Thlanish forces attempt to invade the Savannah once more. The second war had heavy casualties on both sides, but the Thlanish were once again repulsed from the region. The war resulted in the construction of the Great North Wall.
The Panamous nomads unite under the most powerful chief and mount an invasion of the Thlanish Empire. The Thlanish manage to defend their homeland at heavy losses to the Panamous Hordes. The war reinvigorated the Thlanish and lifts them from the depression of the Second Bevarian War, avoiding a full on civilwar.
Members of the warring orc tribes abandon the war effort in the Swamps of Greshk and mount an invasion of Bevaria and Thlane. Bevarian and Thlanish troops manage to fight off these threats and gain territory in the swamps themselves.
The orcs of the Swamps of Greshk are alarmed by the Bevarian and Thlanish invaders. The 12 tribes make a temporary truce in order to drive the invaders out. In response the Bevarians and the Thlanish join forces against the orc hordes. Bevarian Engineers and Thlanish archers are able to create near-impenetrable fortresses and walls in their held territories; exponentially extending the length of the war. In 302 the 12 tribes mounted the "Black River Offensive" which saw nearly 70,000 orcs attacking the border of the two nations. The Bevarians and Thlanish were forced out of the region entirely with extremely heavy casualties and both blamed the other for the disastrous defeat.
The defeated Thlanish launch an attack into the war-torn savannah. The Thlanish take hold of the Savannahs for a year, but are forced back into the Angel Desert. The war ends as a third Bevarian victory, but the number of casualties they took made it feel as a draw rather than a victory.
The numerous defeats suffered by the Thlanish Empire rose tensions greatly until it reached a breaking point. The many lords of the kingdom each secede from the kingdom and declare the nation dead. The king of Thlane is powerless to stop the lords from seceding and is forced to allow the breakup of the kingdom.
The Twin Martal Islands nations make contact with each other and share their sailing technologies and their similar ideals. The two islands decide to enact mutual cooperation; founding the Martal Republics.
The calm is a 160 period where nothing of major accordance happened. The Great Unification War still raged on and the Thlanish states continued to rule themselves in relative peace. The Bevarians continued to build and settle their nation. Amare continued its scientific endeavors and the Andylustian nations continued their expansion.
Human expeditionaries make contact with an Elven forest patrol team. The sides, unable to understand one another, rely on trading goods to show their good intentions.
A Panamousian necromancer tribe accidentally create the necrot virus while trying to create an undead army. The virus spreads into the Angel Desert and the Swamps of Greshk where it spreads rapidly due to the climates of the regions. The virus hits the Thlanish States the most and causes untold amounts of destruction. The virus forces the states to work together to develop a remedy and to help one-another in treating it. The Great Unification War is slowed greatly as warriors start to drop dead from the virus mid-battle. To combat the virus Bevaria takes its best hydromancers and mages to conduct a ritual to temporarily change the weather of the region to that of winter. A misreading of the spell results in the kingdom; except for the Savannah; being permanently encased in winter. The plague fails to spread in great numbers to Togos and is unable to travel across the seas to infect the many islands and Cordia.
The Thlanish States, in light of the plague, join together in two separate societies to better combat the disease. In the West of the Angel Desert is the Second Thlanish Kingdom: led by the King in Westmarch. To the East was the Thlanish Farmer's Commune; led by the village of Thlane. The two societies grow hostilities almost instanty and a deep divide runs through the sub-continent.
The two Thlanish States go to war after the theft of a Thlanish artifact from the Thlanish Commune. The war ended in a draw with no territory being gained on either side and only 100 casualties combined.
The Thlanish Cold War was a period of spying and small skirmishes between the two Thlanish states. The Cold War contributed greatly to the development of spycraft and espionage in the world in general. Word of spycraft soon spread to Thlane's neighbors; especially in the Swamps of Greshk.
The Second Desert War was far longer and far bloodier than the first. The two states were stuck in a deadlock for 8 years will relentless assaults on their fronts being a near constant. The deadlock only ended after the Farmer's Commune infected a legion of the Kingdom with the Necrot Virus. The Commune was able to make significant advances over the desert and were able to take the trade city of Madrado. A peace agreement was signed with the commune as the victor.
Orc Marauders raid a Bevarian settlement in the Savannah triggering a harsh and aggressive response from the Bevarians. The orcs warbands proved hard to remove and led to an over 30 year campaign that saw the eventual removal of the orcs from the region entirely.
A small skirmish at the Bevarian-Thlanish river border of Duro erupts into a full-scale war between The Farmer's Commune and Bevaria. What would be known as the River War only lasted for 3 years, but would evolve into a far larger war.
The Western Thlanish Kingdom agrees to an alliance with Bevaria and immediately declares war on the Farmer's Commune. Now fighting a war on two fronts the Thlanish Commune decides to focus entirely on the defense of its nation and erecting large fortifications at their war fronts. Their actions dramatically increases both the duration and the casualties taken in the war. The Western Kingdom manages to retake the city of Madrado, but fails to fully envelop and destroy the commune.
In the Northwest the kingdoms on the Islands of Tarcess and Tark join in a union. The nation is led by their council of 4 kings who all hold absolute power. The nation posesses high-naval capabilities but prefers to keep to itself on its island instead of exploring the world.
The Northern Nomads of Eropa enter into a psuedo civil war between the rapidly-approaching sedimentary lifestyle in the Dwarven Togos Mountain Range and the largely nomadic Panamousian Steppe. The war ended in the separation of the two societies. Following the war the mountain societies began to rapidly settle and form their own village societies atop the mountains.
The Republic of Amare sends its armies, scientists, and explorers into the surrounding plains and forests of Eastern Cordia. Amare establishes many villages and one city on the coasts of Eastern Cordia and make their way down to Angello's Wall. Amare haults any further expedition because of the lack of technology needed to climb and survive in the sheer and harsh mountains.
The Second Great Calm is a period of relative peace; excluding the Great Unification War and the Nomadic Conflicts in Panamous. Small skirmishes between Bevaria and the Thlanish States did occur but were minor and never erupted into all-out war between the three. The calm also saw the rise of Togos as a nation.
Because of the heightened cooperation between the Elven and Human kingdoms, the idea of a conjoined empire would become more and more prevelant. In 1014, the Two Kings Constitution was put in place. The constitution declared that the human and elven kingdoms would join into one and be ruled by a dual monarchy, each king having equal power. The Dual Monarchy ensured peace in the region, and a stable nation for the elven and human peoples.
Bevaria begins to send weapons, armor, and advisors to the Southeastern Yannun tribe in the swamps of Greshk. Its ally Western Thlane also sends resources into Yannun. In 1020 Bevaria gets directly involved in the Great Unification War and invades the swamps once again. The Farmer's Commune, seeing an opportunity to destroy one of its enemies and to prevent Bevaria from gaining another ally, declares war on Bevaria. The Western Kingdom of Thlane gets dragged into the war on the side of Bevaria and Yannun. The 11 orc tribes continue to fight all other armies that originate from outside their swamp.
Togan trade ships deliver goods to the 12 warring tribes in the Swamps. Western Thlanish and Bevarian give Togos an ultimatum to either stop the shipments or face attack. Togos chooses the latter and their ships soon come under attack by the Bevarian Navy. To avoid further damage Togos joins the war on the side of the Eastern Farmer's Commune. Togos' joining of the war is widely considered to be the beginning of the First Great War.
The Battle of the Gulf is considered to be the longest and largest naval conflict the world had ever seen, until the Third Great War. A combined Western Thlanish, Bevarian, and Yannunese Fleet moved to intercept a Togan, Orc, and Eastern Thlanish fleet; with ships counting well into the hundreds and utilizing hundreds of thousands of naval personnel. Over the course of 20 days 130 ships were destroyed and 89,000 were killed in the conflict. The battle ended as a decisive Yannunese victory over its enemies and its allies. The Orc Fleets were all but destroyed and Togos' navy could no longer protect its trade vessels to the Swamp Peninsula. The Eastern Thlanish fleet's almsot total destruction left the Gulf of Empires completely open to Bevarian Fleets to freely raid and destroy Togan ships.
A warrior-chief of Panamous, who called himself "Khan" offers to take his warbands into Togos as an ally of Bevaria and Yannun. Bevaria promptly accepts this alliance as a way of striking Togos without needing to build an Armada, and Western Thlanish advisors are sent to aide the Khan in his invasion of Togos.
The Khan rallies his warbands and, along with the Thlanish Cavalry, charges into Togos' border with no warning. The battle is a complete slaughter of the dwarven border armies and forces them back to the edge of their mountain range; unable to continue because of the mountainous defenses. The sudden invasion forces Togos into pulling most of its efforts out of the Swamp Peninsula to better defend its homeland; greatly harming the Eastern Commune's war efforts.
The Thlanish Farmer's Commune launches an invasion in the underdefended Western Thlane. They inititially make considerable gains into Western Thlane but are stopped once Bevarian reinforcements and Thlanish levies. Without their momentum and the thinning of their lines Bevarian and Thlanish forces are able to start crushing in on the Farmer's Commune.
Thlanish beatmasters, clerics, priests, and psychomancers, and the best rider of the empire manage to tame and mount a captured dragon. The first Dragon Rider, Marcos DeFresco, uses this dragon to further destroy Orc and Eatern Thlanish armies.
The Farmer's Commune gets pushed back to its coast by the Bevarian and Thlanish armies. Thlane itself would be surrounded and placed under siege for months. The siege would only end when Marcos DeFresco and his dragon Adragor burned the city and its inhabitants to the ground; leaving nothing behind. While unfortunate; the destruction of Thlane led to the collapse of the Eastern Commune and its surrender to Western Thlane.
The Kingdom of Thlane makes the Madrado Proclaimation, formally restoring the Kingdom of Thlane. To avoid angering those who formally lived in the Farmer's Commune the capitol is placed in Madrado instead of Westmarch. With the war in the Angel Desert ending Thlane places its full attention into the Swamp Peninsula.
The combined might of Thlane, Bevaria, Panamousian Volunteers, and Yannun push into the rest of the 11 tribes in the single largest land invasion ever seen at the time. The 11 tribes are all crushed inwards and are unable to continue their defense against the 4 invaders. The invasion is brutal and bloody due to the orc belief of fighting to the death without surrender.
Marcos DeFresco and the 4 new Thlanish dragon riders burn down and destroy 8 orc villages in a brutal campaign of fear against the orc, taking advantage of their belief of dragons being sacred and vengeful spirits. The campaign greatly demoralized the orcs and all but destroyed their ability to continue their war against Yannun.
The 11 Orc chieftans meet in Manking to kneel infront of the Orc Chieftan of Yannun. They pledge their allegiance to their new ruler and deem him the Emperor fortold in prophecies created milleniums ago. As a show of mercy, respect, and honor the Emperor named the chieftens his Shoguns who would rule over the many villages of the Yannunese Shogunate. The event completely ended the war in the Swamps of Greshk.
The surrender of the 11 saw the shifting of Bevarian and Thlanish troops to the Stretch in large numbers. To avoid total destruction by the hands of Thlane Togos immediately surrendered. In response to the war Bevaria enacts a policy of "Malice toward none and charity for all." by offering to help in reconstruction of Dwarven and Yannunese territory and not forcing territorial claims onto Togos. Thlane, on the other hand, demanded the Speckle Islands from Togos or they would continue the war on their own. Togos, who was fearful of the Thlanish's dragons, accepted the terms and handed over the islands to them. Thlane's aggressiveness at the peace negotiations and its threat to pointlessly continue the war angered Bevaria and marked the beginning of the decline in relations between the two.
The third calm was another period of light skirmishes, interior expansion, and minor political events. Over this time period Bevarian and Thlanish relations only worsened until their breakdown in 1189.
The total breakdown of relations and the Thlanish's drive for expansion led to Thlane declaring an annexation of the Savannah and an all-out war between the two nations. The Thlanish military drove the Bevarians back to the Moon Forest, and were only haulted once the Yannunese joined the war on Bevaria's side. Even with Yannun on their side, Bevaria was not able to force the Thlanish out of the Savannah; until the Khan joined the war as well. Facing a war on two fronts that they were completely unprepared for, the Thlanish made a long and bloody retreat through the Savannah and back to the Angel Desert where their dragons could hold their former allies at bay. The war ended in 1201 with the signing of a white peace agreement.
Newly built Amarian ships come across the Martal Republics. Over a period of 4 years Amare enacted treaties onto the Martal Republics and ultimately making them a protectorate of Amare. Their naval developments were absorbed and further developed by Amarian scientists, greatly boosting their naval development.
Thlanish prisoners are sent to the island of Sarciliy as both a penal colony and to set up a new trading post on the island. The Thlanish Viceroy of the island grants heavy autonomy to the prisoners, leaving the many duties of the society to them.
The Thlanish take a greater interest in administrating their territory in the Speckle Islands, which they had previously given autonomy over themselves. A Thlanish Viceroy is assigned to the island and the Speckle government is uprooted and destroyed. The Speckle Islands, in response, form a small rebel group; named the Black Legion.
Yannunese settlers from the continent of Eropa make landing in the swamps and set up a singular settlement, Aiuma Fortress. The fortress and the peninsula become a minor trading location for the Empire. The Yannunese settlers eventually make contact with the Andylustian Union.
A Thlanish colony is placed on the island that they had named "Bonn." The island's first settlement of Leden was placed on the Eastern coast of the island; where Thlanish settlers promptly moved more inland to survey the area. The native tribals of the island were openly hostile, which led to the expeditionary force's horses escaping and populating the island and Leden's destruction. A decade passed before the Thlanish return and their plans of a forceful conquest of the island from the natives. To their surprise survivors from the previous expedition built the village of Boros and assimilated with the native culture. Through Boros and its people Thlane was able to take the island with little resistance from the natives and establish another jewel in the crown of their empire.
Thlanish settlers of Eropa land in the desert regions of the peninsula. The Thlanish set up New Madrado as a port city on the peninsula and begin to trade with the Union as well. The Thlanish arrival marks when the Peninsula was propped up onto the world stage.
The cooperation between the Martal Republics and Amare lead to developments into stronger, storm resistant, ships and mountaineering equipment. The first expeditions around the walls begin shortly after.
The Amarian Republic pushes past Angello's Wall and sets up multiple camps as new colonies. The Amarians overpower and enslave the Milite populations of the ice and use them in mining the precious resources under the ice. The Amarians send further expeditions and eventually reach the other nations present on the continent. The resources mined from the wall allow the Union to create and use better equipments in its military.
The Amarian Republic and the Dual Andylustian Monarchy start to influence the Thlanish and Yannunese colonies on the peninsula with ideas of independence and promise diplomatic and military support if they were to revolt against their masters.
Every single dwarf of Andylustia disappeared from the kingdom, seemingly going overnight and leaving none of their posessions behind. Unbeknownst to the others of the world the dwarves were called upon the Cosmic Lýn to defend Terrum from a portal to the Helvellian Realm of Blizzards that was deep underneath Andylustia.
Thlanish and Bevarian regional claims over Sarciliy lead to Bevaria and the Yannunese Shogunate declaring war on the Thlanish Empire. The two colonial powers issue orders to their colonies to join the war effort and attack one another in Andylustia.
The Yannunese and Thlanish colonies, unwilling to participate in the war between their two parent nations, form a joint rebellion against their masters. The two colonies come together to form the Khaganate, and declare their independence, which is supported by the Andylustian Union. The rebellion is near bloodless and a strong ally of the Union is formed.
The Thlanish Armada meets the Bevarian and Yannunese coastal fleets; engaging in a 4 day battle. The Yannunese and Bevarian Main Fleets; whch were busy in the Gulf of Empires; were unable to hold off the Thlanish Armada from landing. The Thlanish Armies went on to burn and raid trade routes, farms, creating a disaster for the Bevarian and Yannunese armies.
In light of the raids and attacks in their territory the Bevarian military surrenders and the kingdom retracts any and all claims on Thlanish-owned territory.
The citizens of Eropa begin to rethink governmental positions, the true rights of mortals, political beliefs, and religion amongst their civilizations. These political thinkers travelled all throughout Eropa where they preached their thoughts and beliefs to the horror of their kings and lords. These thinkers were often persecuted by the kingdoms they spoke in, which led to many of them entering voluntary exile or hiding among the populace where they spoke in private meetings.
The thinkers of the Enlightmenment all meet in Marina to speak about their beliefs and ideas. The week long conference between these giants ended in the creation and theory of governmetn known as rebuildism which believed that a perfect nation could be created through destroying the old order of kingdoms, founding republics of the people, and the removal of the "Kingom Culture" and replacing it with the "Republican Culture"; thus "Rebuilding" the country. The political ideas was considered too radical for the common person to accept by many attending the conference, except for the elven Bevarian philosopher Freitz Reilamen, who believed the ideology was the next step in Terran society.
General Tylas, one of the highest ranking Elven generals in the union, declared that a union between the Elves and Humans was illegitemate and null and that he would rather die than live under the Dual Monarchy. Tylas and his men took hold of the Black Fortress and refused to leave until the Dual Monarchy was ended. Tylas's rebellion lasted for 90 days, untilt he siege was broken and Tylas was arrested, and later executed by the authorities in the center of Mavrouneberg. The rebellion created high tensions between the Elven and Human civllians, and caused for the two groups to slowly drift apart.
General Tylas' rebellion created a wave of fear across the many human dominated nations on Terrum. Laws started to be created that limited the rights of Elves inside of their kingdoms; the Thlanish being the most harsh through the use of outright deportation and displacement of elves entirely. On the other end of the spectrum, nations that already had large populations of elves like Bevaria worked towards increasing their rights to avoid traitorous thoughts. The displaced elves of the world all flocked to Andylustia seeing it as one of the places where elves could truly live as free people.
King Johan Mavroune III informs King Argamottese that he is officially leaving the union. Argamottese informs Mavroune that it would be a declaration of war if he had done so. After a short battle at Castle Amersque, the Elven Royal Guards were forcefully removed from Mavrouneberg. Argamottese, furious with what had transpired, gave Johan a year to reconsider his actions and to return to the Dual Monarchy.
After a year had passed, Argamottese declared war on Mavroune. The allies of the Union quickly severed ties, not wanting to be involved with the Union's problems. The War was extremely bloody and left thousands dead. Despite their efforts, the Elven Monarchy was much more prepared for an invasion into the human territories. As 1544 came Mavrouneberg was taken and castle Amersque was occupied. The war officially ended once Johan and the royal family were discovered dead in their chambers.
Following the death of Mavroune Dynasty Argamottese decided to rule over the Elven and Human subjects on his own under one throne. Over the span of the next two years Argamottese fought against human rebel groups and rebuilt the destroyed spaces of the human kingdom. As the last rebel groups died off Argamottese finally put himself in control of both kingdoms and declared himself king.
The Rise of Argamottese's Empire led to a new age of existence, as the first truly Elven Empire rose from the ashes of a previously human dominated nation; becoming a superpower at the same time.
After the human defeat and the Elven takeover Argamottese quickly went to restore the glory of what was the Dual Monarchy. In order to keep the human populations happy Argamottese moved the capital from Port Mawrth to Mavrouneberg, which was renamed to Saint Claudsburg; named for the Saint that brokered peace between the two churches of the races during the Dual Monarchy. Argamottese had also given humans complete freedom when it came to where they lived, worked, and what religion they practiced. The policies that Argamottese had passed all calmed the human populations enough to the point of complacency and acceptance of the Elf overlords.
As the kingdom grew more in power Argamottese soon turned his eyes towards the deserts of the Khaganate. The invasion of the Khaganate territories was a short but bloody war with thousands dying on each side. After 5 years of combat New Madrado finally fell and the members of the Council of Khag were either dead or captured.
After the defeat of the Khaganate Argamottese named the only human council member the regional governor of the Khaganate Territories and promised money and power in return for his loyalty.
The mostly human nations of Eropa and Amare drafted multiple bills and diplomatic actions to embargo and limit the power of The Eltrial Empire. Volunteers from the Eropan Continent were sent into the few opposing nations left on the peninsula and Amarian reinforcements were sent to the Wall region to further defend their territorial holdings.
The Thlanish lords and colonial advisors all meet in Madrado with the king to revisit their involvement in their Andylustian colony deep inside of the Wall Territory. Over the course of 2 months it was decided that a war over the colony would not be worth the Thlanish lives and resources that would be put into should Argamottese make an ultimatum.
Argamottese's eyes soon looked South towards the largest supply of precious metals on the peninsula. Argamottese gave the Thlanish and the Amarian colonizers two options. Argamottese could purchase their colonies from them, or war would be declared over the territories. The Thlanish, no longer seeing the value in the little territory they still held, sold what they had left to Argamottese. The Amarians, still wanting to control the Wall and its resources, rejected Argamottese's offer.
The Republic of Amare's refusal of Argamottese' offer led to war between the two nations. Fighting in the war only occured during the spring and summer months, as the bitter cold only lead to mass deaths and victory for neither side. In an effort to gain the upper hand against the Amarians; Argamottese promised to lift the Milites from poverty if they fought for him. With the help of the Milites Argamottese was able to attack the Amarian forces in the harsh winter, forcing heavy casualties onto their forces. The catastrophic losses to the Milites and their rapid loss of territory forces Amare to surrender its territory to Argamottese.
After gaining control of all territories North of the Wall Argamottese declared himself the Emperor of the peninsula. Argamottese went about with further securing his empire by dividing it into 4 territories: The Capitol Region, the Khaganate Territories, the Elven Territories, and the Wall Territories, each led by a Regional Governor.
Amarian and Thlanish colonists meet one another on the isle of Tansania after both set up their own settlements in the North and South of the island. Negotiations between mainland Thlane and Amare almost saw to a solution when hostilities between the colonies broke out. Negotiations immediately broke down; each side blaming the other for staging the attacks.
Thlanish and Amarian Colonial Fleets engage each other around the coast of Tansania. The two fleets' ports on the island and support from the mainland allow them to fight longer and spill more blood in the name of their empires. Each fleet manages to take out most shipments of food, supplies, and weapons to their colonists; greatly hindering any progress on the island itself.
The Amarian city of Yamarrow is placed under siege by the Thlanish colonial forces. Both sides are undermanned, undersupplied, and underfed, leading to a long and brutal siege of the city. As the months grew, soldiers on both sides of the siege started to lose men to hunger and ilness. As the 7th month came; the Amarian defenders staged a desperate breakout attempt by sending all who remained into the completely surprised and fatigued Thlanish attackers. The Breakout saw the bloodiest, most gruesome, and highest casaulty rate ever seen in a battle up until point. The starving Amarians retreated from their positions and instead retreated to their own settlement to defend and work on producing their own food before the winter months.
Over the winter months the undersupplied Amarian and Thlanish colonists saw mass deaths from hunger and disease. To combat this; the Amarians and Thlanish decided to work together in order to survive the winter, unbekownst to their leaders in the mothernations. The cooperation saw the eventual end of hostilities between the colonists; their hatred shifting towards their mother nations. By the end of the winter months the island had formed its own governing body and started to make plans for its declaration of independence from the mothercountries.
The lower naval officers of the Thlanish and Amarian ships at the coast of Tansania mutiny against their commanders and forceful take control of both fleets after a short skirmish. Now equipped with a full fleet the Tansanian Congressional Republic declares itself independent from both Amare and Thlane. Both Thlane and Amare, no longer seeing value in holding the island, agree to allow it to have independence but with heavy reparations for both causing the war and to repay for their fleets; something that the Tansanian government accepted reluctantly.
Adela Reilamen and her followers are met by Bevarian Royal Guards who call for Reilamen's arrest on orders of the king. After an intense standoff the guards and Reilamen's "Knights of Democracy" enter an open engagement with one another. By the end of the battle 50 people lay dead and the nation was shocked.
After her retreat to the South Reilamen takes control of much of Southern Bevaria and declares the Republic. As Reilamen takes control of the South pockets of rebels in cities such as Kerling pop up and chaos in the loyalist territories.
The increasing instability of Bevaria leads to Thlanish forces occupying the Savannah in order to "Keep the Peace." The Kingdom and Republic of Bevaria are forced to comply in fear of total invasion into a weakened Bevaria.
Republican rebels secure the capital of the Kingdom of Bevaria. The king manages to escape the dire situaton into Reinhardt Castle in the deep North of Bevaria. Reilamen herself makes a visit to the city after its capture to deliver a speech to the liberated city and amass more troops to fight for her army.
Bevarian Republican rebels push further North and reach the Southmost fortress of Stervine Castle. The 2 month siege ended in the rebel's defeat and their momentum completely haulted for the time being.
Bevarian rebels make the final push into Northern Bevaria. Over the course of four years they are able to breach the Northmoon Fortress, where they capture and kill the king; along with most of his family. Immediately following the fall of the fortress came the instant collapse of the loyalist army and their flight to Yannun.
Following the death of the king and the collapse of his army Reilamen declares victory in Bevaria and forms the Distilfink Republic, a new nation devoid of the old Bevaria and its customs.
As part of the Rebuildist Ideology Adela Reilamen begins a series of purges to "purify" the nation of the old. The nobles and knights of the old kingdom were all killed in their homes by Republican forces, along with their estates being burned and their stewards massacred. Following the purge of Bevarian nobility came the cultural purge. Old statues, monuments, legends, myths, temples, and the Frozen Palace were all destroyed and replaced with ones of the Republic and Reilamen. The purge came as a shock to Eropa as a whole. Not only did Rebuildism become successful, but its true intentions were now seen far and wide, and many kings started to crack down the ideology heavily.
Insurgent and counter-revolutionary groups rise against Reilamen's new government in Southern Bevaria. To prevent another civil war Reilamen orders Lord Steisswig to march his host South to destroy these rebel cells before they grow too powerful. During his campaign against these rebels Steisswig unconditionally slaughtered the rebels, executed them in horrific fashion, murdered their families, took no prisoners, and left the rebelling villages burnt to ash in his wake. The end of the Southern Campaign finally came after the fall of the final rebel stronghold at Castle Ister. The 3 month siege saw the deaths of an untold number of men as Steisswig hurled soldier after soldier towards the walls of the fortress until the defenders could no longer hold them off. Steisswig's men went room to room and hall to hall killing all in sight, including the women and children who had taken shelter. As Steisswig triumphantly returned to Distilfink the stories of his exploits in the South made it to the rest of the nation. Fear soon swept the nation, as many feared that the wrath of Steisswig could come to them, should the Republic deem it.
On Unification Day Cerevis held a masquerade ball for all to enter. No expense was saved for the celebration and many commoners experienced the life of a noble for the first time. At a large dinner table Cerevis announced the misdeads of his advisors and what they had done to the common people. He then told the commoners to do as they wish to the advisors who had ruined their lives and their estates. By the time the night had ened, all of the advisors were hung in the streets; their posessions stolen and sold.
Empress Tylas was the first woman to ascend the throne of Andylustia. Much of Empress Tylas' reign was directed towards improving the lives of all citizens of the empire. Ugly institutions like slavery had heavy restrictions and policies placed onto them. Many rights and civil liberties were given to the people of the empire. The Empress' reforms paved the way for a happier people and made her a champion of the people. The Empress' death hit the people of the nation hard, and a week long celebration of her life followed.
Cerevis III rises to the throne. In the first decade of his rise to power he removes many of the rights that his mother had established, claiming that they did nothing but remove power from the emperor. His actions greatly upset the people and sparked small rebellions in the empire's countryside.
Prince Stanislow, a "champion of the people" and a respected figure in Imperial politics orchestrates a coup against his older brother. With the help of members of the Imperial military and Kazen Mauropool Stanislow was able to capture his brother and force him from the throne, preventing an all out revolution.
The final part of Stanislow's plan to please the people. Cerevis was placed on public trial, and his numerous crimes against the people and state were listed to him. As his trial concluded members of the Imperial Parliament were split between two punishments: Death and Life Imprisonment. Stanislow, wanting to please both sides and avoid the death of his own brother, decreed that Cerevis would be exiled to the Martal Republic where he will live out the rest of his days. As he was taken away Cerevis swore that he would make his return and take back what was rightfully his, a threat left empty.
The Dragons make their return to the world, coming up from the caves and dungeons they used to inhabit. The Dragons, believing they were the true rulers of the world, declared war on the world. The war is the first conflict of Stanislow's reign, and proves as a test for his ability to rule during a time of war.
The Battle of Aiuma Fortress was a major turning point in the war, a proving point of Stanislow's ability as a military leader, and the death of the Dragon Prince Aatorix. The battle led to the widespread use of God's Wood in Imperial architecture and military, as well as the first use of the Imperial Mage Guild in combat.
The Vampires of Andylustia come out of their hiding in the Tundra and form an alliance with the dragons. The vampires strike at the already vulnerable villages and force the empire to split its forces in half. The beginning of the Vampirical Wars caused a great depression in morale for the Imperial soldiers and was the lowest point of Stanislow's reign.
Markarath, the Dark Prince of the Vampires, is killed in the Valley of Spirits by Stanislow. The death of the Vampire's Dark Prince causes them to split off into smaller warlords. The vampires slowly drift away from killing Imperials to each other, which slowly leads to their near extinction.
Paathanix, the Dragon King, is killed by Stanislow and his King's Guard. The death of the Dragon King led to the downfall of the dragons across the globe. The already demoralized and defeated dragons turn to the nations of the world in order to survive, and promise service to those nations in return.
Stanislow's victory over the vampires and the dragons made him an almost legendary figure. Many across the world told stories of the great king who banished evil from the world. After the war, Stanislow proved that he was no longer a young prince, but an emperor.
The Story Begins here. Emperor Stanislow is dead, and replaced by a regency council who refuses to hand power to either of his twin sons.
Following eye witness deaths of their god, Angello, the theocratic Thlanish Empire collapses under itself. The chaos of the falling government leads to the Amarian mainland invasion and subjugation of Thlane.
Because of their newfound isolation from the rest of the world the Amarian economy is nearly devastated. Their lack of imported Godswood, Ironwood, and minerals from Southern Andylustia leads to the slowing of all processes within their nation, and a near breakdown of their society; only surviving through their territorial holdings in Eropa.
The border foress of Mekong, just along the Border Savannah, is assaulted by Amarian and Thlanish forces. After months of siege the Yannunese reinforcements are able to surround and destroy the Amarian legions assaulting the fortress.

The surviving Bevarian armies and Northmen war parties turn to guerilla warfare to harass the Amarian-Thlanish garrisons an supply lines. After several months the levies of Bevaria arrive and liberate the forest and fortress from Amarian hands.
After their victories at Mekong and Sterling Fortress the Bevarian and Yannunese armies counter-attack with a combined force of 60,000 soldiers. This force manages to overwhelm the now demoralized Thlanish army who are forced to abandon the Border Savannah entirely.
With the help of the Panamousian Cavalry and the Togan forges Thlane is able to push the Bevarian-Yannunnese Armies back to Bloodmother, whilst also inflincting heavy losses.
Thlanish, Amarian, Panamousian, and Togan forces storm the Mekong Fortress for the second time. Unlike their first attempt Mekong falls in just four days, allowing them to flood into the rest of Yannun.
