History

Pribyslavitz was originally an indigenous village when the conqueror's settled the Staglands, but it was purchased, in 1167, by House Ryker, the first step in an vague alliance between House Ryker and the local elves. Having been little more than an outpost, Pribyslavitz soon became known for its strange "tree houses",drawing many visitors - however, the tree houses were left alone, and the settlement became a lumber camp, providing lumber to most of the settlement effort. The name of the village is some sort of Barovian bastardization of the village's elven name. The tower house is built around the one structure that already existed on the ground, and was finished in 1189. The village was attacked by a Red Dragon in 1396, and subsequently abandoned.
