Volcanic Island

The Volcanic Island is a remote and unnamed island located far north of Siniador, surrounded by blizzards and storms generated by the volcano in its center. The volcano is the resting place of a powerful white dragon who died during the Draco-Giant War, and its heart's lingering magic prevent the volcano from erupting.   The island is also home to Doraka, a silver dragon in charge of watching over the giants and stopping them in case of emergency.  

Description

The island is known for its volatile weather, making it difficult to reach by sea or by sky. The blizzards and storms generated by the dragon's heart are so powerful that they can only be overpowered by those with great strength. Despite its inhospitable climate, the island is a place of great magical power, making it an attractive destination for those seeking to harness its energy.   The volcano is the centerpiece of the island, dominating the landscape and creating a constant source of blizzards and storms. The island is mostly barren, with only a few pockets of vegetation struggling to survive in the harsh conditions. The only signs of life on the island are a few hardy creatures that have adapted to the extreme weather, such as ice elemental.  

Features

Extreme Cold. Tall tree is at the upper north of Siniadòr and snow cover the region the northern part of the forest, a creature in the nowy region must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw at the end of each hour or gain one level of exhaustion. Creatures with resistance or immunity to cold damage automatically succeed on the saving throw, as do creatures wearing cold weather gear (thick coats, gloves, and the like) and creatures naturally adapted to cold climates.   Frigid Water. The water is most often covered in a thin layer of ice, thin ice has a weight tolerance of 3d10 × 10 pounds per 10-foot-square area. Whenever the total weight on an area of thin ice exceeds its tolerance, the ice in that area breaks. All creatures on broken ice fall through.
A creature can be immersed in frigid water for a number of minutes equal to its Constitution score before suffering any ill effects. Each additional minute spent in frigid water requires the creature to succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or gain one level of exhaustion. Creatures with resistance or immunity to cold damage automatically succeed on the saving throw, as do creatures that are naturally adapted to living in ice-cold water.
Slippery ice is difficult terrain. When a creature moves onto slippery ice for the first time on a turn, it must succeed on a DC 10 Dexterity (Acrobatics) check or fall prone.    

Adventure Hook

The Dragon's Heart, the source of magic and power that keeps the volcano on the unnamed volcanic island in check, has become unstable. The blizzards and storms that constantly sweep over the island have started to spread beyond its borders, putting nearby lands and shipping lanes in danger. The villagers on SIniadòr northen shore have reported sightings of massive storms and bizarre weather patterns that they have never seen before.   Adventurers are needed to journey to the volcanic island and find a way to stabilize the Dragon's Heart. They must brave the powerful blizzards and storms that have made the island nearly impossible to reach. The journey will not be easy, but the reward for success could be great. The power of the Dragon's Heart could provide an immense source of energy and magic to whoever can control it. However, if the Heart were to become completely unstable, it could lead to disastrous consequences and threaten the entire region. The fate of the world rests in the hands of brave adventurers willing to take on this perilous mission.
