Philosopher Stone

Among the many treatises of alchemy, none is more famous than the Philosopher's Stone, a bright blood-red stone akin for alchemists to a power beyond the limit of Science, containing limitless power. Those that lay their hands on the mystical philosopher's stone understand that alchemy isn't limited to the physical world, but encompasses all levels of reality, matter, shape, and form. The Stone transcends the very principles of science and philosophy, its very existence calling into question the physical laws of our world. Made of an unknown matter, perfectly smooth, and the bright blood-red color reflecting the light, making the stone shine nicely.   It is said to contain infinite power, from the ability to bring back the dead, to bending the Weave endlessly. The stone, if lost, disappear, destroying itself if lost for more than 1d12 days. But, such stone is an artificial creation, and as such, it can be created again, it is even technically possible to have multiple Philosopher's stones, but very unlikely, as having one of those is already a feat that was never accomplished so far.

Creating the Philosopher's Stone

The process to create such stone is actually fairly simple in theory. The soul of numerous living been must be sacrificed, their life essence bringing the power to the stone, such sacrifice need to be made thanks to a very specific Transmutation alchemical circle, the secret of which is hidden in the Emerald Tablet. All creatures in the circle that aren't undead or construct die. To create a complete Philosopher Stone, a great Sacrifice need to be made, at least 10 000 000 sentient living been need to be sacrifice to have just a 25% chance of succeeding in the creation of the stone. Each additional 10 000 000 sentient living been sacrificed add 25% chance of success. On a failure, an unfinished philosopher stone is created instead.
