Mithril

Mithril is a precious silvery metal, very lightweight but strong. It lies hidden deep within the depths of Toriel's Underdark. This enchanted mineral possesses a faint glow, hinting at its magical nature. Originating from the Feywild, specifically the Feydark, the Underdark of the Feywild, mithril is intimately tied to the fey realms. As a result, it is commonly found in regions of the Underdark that are connected to the Feydark or have been influenced by fey energies over time.

Uses

Trace amounts of Mythril can be infused in stones to create glowstones, which are used to light passages.

History

The first appearance of mithril in the Prime Material Plane can be traced back to the War of the Ancients, an epoch when portals from the Feywild beckoned the elves to cross over into the world.
