Grungs live in trees and prefer shade. A grung hatchery is maintained in well-guarded ground-level pools. About three months after hatching, a grung tadpole takes on the shape of an adult. It takes another six to nine months for a grung juvenile to reach maturity.

Characteristics

Physical features

Although they stand at a similar height as a Halfling, the hunched posture and bent knees make the Grung appear shorter. All grungs secrete a substance that is harmless to them but poisonous to other creatures. A grung also uses venom to poison its weapons.   Grung are incapable of growing any hair unless by some sort of magic and have widely spaced and bulbous eyes. Their powerful legs and webbed feet allow for rapid movement in the water and the ability to perform long jumps with ease.
