Flintfall
Flintfall is a small yet very active settlement in the Desolation Desert. Located on one of the most important trade roads, it survives thanks to its robust economy, and the few mining operations trying to excavate the nearby rocky terrains.
Geography
The settlement of Flintfall is isolated in a part of the desolation desert that almost turns into a mesa, with large rocky formations creating a harsh landscape around the city. However, a significant commercial road linking Nicodranas to Ionguale passes through Flintfall, allowing the city to survive despite its challenging location.Description
In town, there is a sending office and a station for various caravans and carriages that stop during their journeys.Temple of Healing
The most prominent feature of Flintfall is the Temple of Healing. An old temple, located on the edge of town where the dunes turn into rocky badlands and the Venompoint Bridge oversees the trading route, has been rebuilt. The temple now offers healing to those who seek a better life.Guards office
Talon Reardon serves as the noble overseeing the town's guards, excluding those who have committed themselves to the Temple of Healing. The guard office consists of a main room with a desk and two cells. Typically, two guards, including one stationed at the desk, monitor prisoners and rotate shifts every six hours. Outside the building, there is a crate where prisoners' belongings are stored.Royal Pig Tavern
Nestled among the commercial buildings of Flintfall, at the intersection of two streets, stands a tired building. The facade features a porch, with the main entrance on the same side. A sign that reads "Royal Pig Tavern" is nailed above the entrance.Society
Law
The city boasts numerous guards, especially around the station for caravans. Use the Guard Arrival Times table to determine how long it takes for guards to arrive at a location after a crime or similar incident is reported.Factions
Ever since the Temple of Healing was rebuilt, the guards now pray in it regularly, and its influence seems to loom over the entire city.History
A group of outcasts, consisting of a Harengon, a Changeling, a Tiefling, and a Mapach, orchestrated a daring robbery of a caravan owned by the Brownoak family. The heist turned into a chaotic event, with a flaming caravan speeding through the desert while the robbers engaged in skirmishes with guards in town. Eventually, the thieves managed to escape, disappearing with their loot.Geography
