Evocation School

The Evocation school is a wizard school in Windrin. Often rebranded as the school of magical display, this wizard school is famous for teaching a lotmore than wizardry. Numerous spellcaster of various talents and craft come to this college to learn about Magic, and just as many visitors come to see the students sparring.
The school uniforms are black, as ampng evocation spell, the creation and manipulation of fire is a basic. The ash produced from their flames is a pain to get out, so they wear black uniforms to save themselves the hassle.

Admittance

The school accept any student, without any regard on their status or title, under certain conditions. A test of merit require the future student to cast some kind of spell, a display of its affinity with the Weave, then the student has to be able to pay the scholarship fee, 300 gp per year.

Lectures

To earn a degree from the Evocation School, one must complete a rigorous course of study spanning a total of 3 years.
Lectures are held in the Grandloft Hall during the day. These cover a wide range of subjects and the Adventurers are welcome to listen, provided they have joined the College. The Evocation school of windrin is famous for its optinal lectures about performances which intrigues many bards.

Description

The Evocation school campus is located due north of Windrin and looks much like an extension of it. It is an urban campus that features buildings of stately elegance.

Grandloft Hall

The main building is Grandloft Hall, a vast space with shafts of light streaking in from the enchanted windowpanes far above. Grandloft teems with balconies, loges, booths, daises, and other spaces where orators can perform their craft. Enchanted spotlights automatically focus on any mage who uses powerful magic.

The Rose Stage

The Rose Stage is a rotating circular platform on the campus. It has a backdrop of roses made of magical ink, which creates excellent acoustics. Mage-students meet at the Rose Stage to practice performances, spar, or engage in honor duels. Faculty members often observe performances at the Rose Stage, coaching the students in their magical and rhetorical displays.
The Rose Stage holds benches for spectators, an orchestra pit, and a large main stage decorated with a huge rose. An enclosed annex building behind the main stage serves as a preparation area, as well as a storage area for stage equipment and props. The Rose Stage is available to any group or course on campus.
The main stage is an impressively large oval stage that offer ample room for performers, or student sparring. A wide set of steps rises 5 feet to the stage. South of the main stage, the general seating contains rows of benches, magically treated to resist the elements, and with low-sloping ramps set between them. To the right of the benches is the orchestra Pit, reserved for student or professional musicians who accompany musical producions or provide ambient music for other stage shows. North of the main stage, two large door lead to the backstage. Although the doors are locked at night, a character can pick the lock with a successful DC 25 Dexterity check using thieves’ tools.
