Physical features
Dire wolves are especially large and powerful wolves. Dire wolves grow to about 9 feet (2.7 meters) long and weight up to 800 lb (360 kg), about the size of a horse. They have thick fur that is mottled grey or black in color, and they have eyes like sparks.
Mental traits
Dire Wolf exhibit a deep understanding of their own mortality and display mournful emotions when their riders or packmates meet their demise.
Abilities
Dire wolves fight in packs, fighting efficiently and surrounding their prey and flanking it to gain an advantage. Their bite is their only weapon, but they can drag a creature to the ground once they had gotten a hold of them.
Some rare dire wolf, pack leaders are called storm wolf and are inbued with magical thunder.
