Stars

Cultures across Toriel have formed constellations out of the stars above for millennia. Depictions stay similar across time and cultures, mostly thanks to the magical illusion created around the constellation when it is most visible showing an image of what it represent.   While stars are different between northern and southern Toriel, some constellations are visible across the continent.   There are two moons of Toriel, the first one seemingly known only as "Lúg emel" and the second one known as "Gwathren". Phases of the moon can be observed.   A constellation is an arrangement of stars viewed in the night sky.

Significance

Stars have been used for navigation by many cultures, and various sky charts have been constructed by scholars and clerics, presumably reflecting the regional differences. Druids also consulted the stars through oracles and sages to aid in decision-making.   When the constellation is the most visible, a magic effect naturally occurs, a magic similar to the silent image spell makes a soft blue glowing image of the constellation name appear around the star, showing off what it is supposed to represent.   Some effects are tied to constellations, and some say the Weave resonate with the star, making the magic most powerful when the constellation shines bright and magically in the stars.

Celestial Objects

Lúg emel (Kurt's Heart)

The moon named Kurt's Heart is actually a chunk of the Void that was about to pahse into Echo the Outer Plane of Neutral Chaos. It was torn from the void and the Plane of Chaos during an ancient battle when Kur fought the previous goddess of the void.   Due to its origins in the void, this celestial object is inhabited by numerous aberrations and void horrors.

Gwathren

Gwathren is Toriel's natural moon
