Zebin

The Grand Port of Bendora, as well as the largest port within the Gulf of Pavinar, Port Zebin has always been a major asset for its much larger parent city to the west. Major Trade, as well as very prominent guilds have passed through this city for thousands of years, waxing and waning based on the cities relevance as well as its stability at the time. Much like its parent city, Zebin has a long and rich history on the peninsula, and has been under the control of many different groups and factions, a fact that is greatly evident in the many different architecture styles, and peoples that inhabit the port. Many distinct districts within the city have developed, been preserved, or even recreated in thanks to recent reclamation efforts from the state, as well as abroad. To the north rests the clean, prim, and proper pearl quarter. Full of wealthy merchants, nobles, and several guilds, the Pearl Quarter is where the most high end business takes place within the city, and homes of wealthy, or notable people rest. Within the direct center of the City, sprawling from the western boarder of the city limits, to the ports in the east, resides the sailors ward. Within the this ward resides many of the districts that have popped up, or been destroyed over the years, and is home to most of the working class individuals. Contrary to the name, most people who makes their home here, or finds their niche of race or culture, are not in fact sailors. Most individuals have brought over their skills from their home lands, and use this as a means to attract tourists, sailors, and military on shore leave. The sailor's Ward by proxy, is where most of the lower to mid class trade, and industry takes place. South of the Sailor's Ward, following the banks of the Bend River, resides old Town. This district is where the oldest and most densely populated parts of the city are. Want to spend a night with a siren, or drink till the wee hours of the morning? Old Town will provide. Seedy individuals stalk narrow ally ways, and several underground organizations, and gangs battle it out over who claims the city as their turf. Drunken sailors stopping in tow find ways to make it through the night while at shore, and petty crime happens here very often. several racial districts call this district home, much like the Sailor's Ward, forming niches of minority controlled areas. South even still of Old town Resides the Launches. Here has a strong Naval presence, as well as major industry, too large for the interior of the city. Many working class individuals find their ways here, as it is a reliable source of income thanks to The Gilded Crown's thirst for naval pursuits.
