The Heart of Embershard
Deep within Mt. Komiki lied a dormant cavern of amber and obsidian. For thousands of years it has been undisturbed, until now. Long before the formation of the The Gilded Crown, before the war that swept the lands of Gora, a charge was made. To protect the holiest lands of the dead god Veazu. A passage was created, leading to the inside of the now petrified god, where pilgrimages most holy took place. However, bubbling and roiling in the depths of the magma the gods devine spark gave life to one last creation. Unintentionally a beast was made from the gods magma like blood, and crystalized into a terrible beast of great power. when light from above washed over the last group of pilgrims to enter the caverns, and the terrible roar of the beast sounded, no one heard from those individuals ever again. Now the Heart of Embershard lies dormant again, waiting for others foolish enough to follow this tale to its resting place, where the beast lies.
Geography
The heart of Embershard is a large cavern that has large shards of Ember Shard Obsidian that appears to have flowed down from the ceiling, walls, and ground, with several broken and shattered pieces all over the floor of the cavern. This flow pattern is not natural looking, and has many swirls and bends that create strange pasterns in the glassy rock. The large chamber is dark, except for small streams of Lava that poor from cracks in the walls and ceiling.
