Randurth Desert

A large desert in the south eastern reaches of The Continent. Randurth is a barren landscape with sand dunes that stretch as high as mountains. There are many magical remnants in this desert, from a kingdom long past. Some think there used to be an ancient human kingdom here that was razed for a misdeed. Others believe it used to be an ocean. 
Regardless of origin many treasure hunters make there way here, with more often than naught, them perishing along the way. Legend has it the tower of the Phoenix resides in the center of the desert, but no one who set out to search for it has returned alive to tell the tale.
