Plate Armor of Ereek

A large set of Obsidian black armor containing 6 pale crystalline gems in the torso with hollow clear tubes running all over it. 
Once donned with the Ring of Ereek however the wearer will be impaled by hundreds of small spikes and become one with the armor. Blood will run through the tubes and for a Barbarian, will channel their rages into the gems the armor contains allowing them a legendary armor but at a hefty price.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The armor is a mechanical masterpiece said to be designed by a team of the most brilliant mix of artificers ever for the demigod Ereek .  It's a unique gem system harnesses the rages from a barbarian and can hold them until the wearer wishes to rage. This allows barbarians to gain a new scale of power as they wear an armor while channeling their inner abilities.
There are several major caveats to such a powerful armor. When worn for the first time with the fabled Ring of Ereek the wearer is impaled by many spikes and becomes one with the armor, never able to take it off willingly.

Significance

Once Ereek was defeated at the hands of Galamor it is said that Galamor attempted to destroy the armor but was unable to so hid it far away somewhere in The High Seas Archipelago. 
Due to the unnatural desire for barbarians to wish to don such a massive suit of armor Galamor deemed it best to hide away as any that would seek it out must have vile intentions indeed. Especially since Ereek's own ring had vanished after the battle, Galamor was worried if Ereek was truly gone forever.
