The Eternal Flame S’varrosh

The fear of clergy is well founded. Even the death of the gods did not abolish their followers, and many churches remained in the great cities even following the Ascended War. It took one of their own to destroy religion and push clerics to the fringes of society, tolerated only because they were useful.
S’varrosh was a firebrand and follower of the Militant, as good with an axe as he was rousing the hatred and ambition that burned in his flock’s heart. Riling up the poor and the downtrodden, S’varrosh led an army against the Ascended who took from the Militant’s power. With each death, the power of the Militant swelled, and so too did S’varrosh and his followers grow in strength. Each victory brought more to their banners, and they left countless orc bands and fringe cities in flames. Only S’varrosh’s own unfortunate Ascendancy stopped his war path, when it brought him the attention of the Godhunter.
