Eleazar Maldrakkar
Master Eleazar Maldrakkar (a.k.a. Sparky Sparky Boom Man)
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Not much muscle on him; but he is quite agile and healthy.
Body Features
Only real strangeness is a mark of a strange looking blue rune that is on the back of his right hand. The symbol slightly resembles a harp, and isn't a tattoo, as it emits glowing pulses when he taps into it's power and is able to slightly shift around.
Facial Features
Usually grinning. Eleazar keeps his face meticulously clean-shaven, and finds time to tend to his appearance as if to try and overturn the myth that scholars dont care about their appearance. He keeps his hair going slightly past his shoulders, and leave it entirely unbound.
Identifying Characteristics
The strange armor he wears is a dead giveaway, with all of its odd, relic-like qualities and dials. The gauntlet is especially obvious, and his eccentricities will not let him walk around anywhere without a cape, so he's pretty hard to mistake for anyone.
Physical quirks
Has a tendency to speak is thoughts out loud when concentrating hard on something, massaging the bridge of his nose. A sign of him being angry is him crossing his arms and tapping the fingers of his right hand on his left bicep. Will pull out his journal to write in any situation he considers worthy of note, without breaking flow of doing the thing he was engaged in before.
Special abilities
Some skill in arcane magic. The Dragonmark.
Apparel & Accessories
Studded leather armor littered with belts, dials, levers, and cables connecting to a metal gauntlet. An enormous amount of pockets.
Specialized Equipment
Investigation, Arcana, History, Gunsmithing, Lockpicking, Cartography.

Personal history
Birth Name: Eleazar Maldrakkar
Status: Impoverished Noble
Job until Syvriak's Rebellion: Scribe for Arsilius, Puppeteer of Blood
Personality: Curious, excitable, easily gets carried away. Obsessive about research.
Studies: Si'yla (Ancient and Lost) Civilization as a whole, guns. Effects of mutations caused by Si'yla experiments in flora and fauna.
Parents: Father assumed dead in riots, mother one of the man Arsilius killed for fun
Relationship with father: Terrible. Gadaron saw himself as true noble and his son was merely a cursed pawn
His being a scribe was supposed to give the family a leg to stand on in court - it didnt work.
Views on Arsilius: Hatred. Took part in rebellion by feeding the rebels scraps of information he'd heard in court - small things, but it was all he could do.
Silver Tower and Forbidden Tome: Investigate on own initiative after watching Syvriak disembowel Arilius, seeking to trample on the final piece of Arsilius' legacy... Is what he tells himself, but it was mostly his damnable curiosity - on what would a monster like that need to keep locked up no matter what, and why he stayed in a tower full of traps instead of a convenient palace - as well as wanting to know more about his own cursed brand. That, and the more profit oriented thought of wanting to offer the conquering rebel something of Arsilius'.
He discovered something that made him decide to flee regardless of consequences. On his way out, he took a book that would later be classified as 'forbidden' by Syvriak. Desperate for a way out, he followed a passing scholar, begging to apprentice with him. The scholar was Marti Valinus, who, for no reason Eleazar understood, accepted. The man was more of a father to him than Gadaron ever was; a kind teacher that educated the boy in his craft. They traveled a good amount, with the scholar collecting information for his works, before settling in Ars Magne. About a month before his death, the elderly scholar seemed to have suspected something and sent his pupil away, to Ars Silica under the pretense of retrieving something - enough time had passed. When he arrived to his old home (his father gone and assumed dead), he received a letter from the scholar, which posed a question he had to solve, and informing him that by the time he reads this, he is likely to be dead. Surely enough, news soon spread of the godhunter having killed him.
This would further change the course of Eleazar's research, adding to more than just his curiosity with the Si'yla. Most would have seen this as simply an unfortunate accident, but the artificer's reaction was loathing. He set himself up in the Inner city as a gun repair man and cartographer with a good knowledge of history of Si'yla - this earned him some business from adventurers and treasurehunters. Of course, he meticulously continued to hide the Dragonmark on his right hand, covering it with a gauntlet embedded with his tools.

Education
Educated as a scribe initially, then mentored by Marti Valinus as a scholar. Picked up additional skills along the way, as he wished to not focus on one science but all of them. Guns fascinate him, but even more so complex mechanisms, which is how he got into further artifice, and was further encouraged by his mentor. His skill with lockpicking that he'd picked up as a teenager came in handy here.
Employment
Formerly a scribe for Arsilius the Blood Puppeteer.
Formerly apprentice of Marti Valinus
Currently owner of the 'Muskets' an' Maps'(?) shop in inner quarter, Market District, selling services in gunsmithing, repair, and mapmaking & identifying.

Failures & Embarrassments

Intellectual Characteristics
Why, all of them.
Morality & Philosophy
No Limits. Nothing should fetter the infinite possibility inherent in all existence. No barriers should exist to knowledge - no prejudices towards any kind of it, regardless where it comes from. Respect must be earned but, xenophobia and racism are pointless. Never be willing to perform an experiment on another that you wouldnt do on yourself. Do not reject anything out of compliance with society's formed prejudices - unhealthy mental habits.
Taboos
Destroying knowledge
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Access to the Librarius and the Arcanum. The revival of the Golden Age. Scribing the complete history of Tollomai, from before the gods were slain. Finding out why his mentor was killed, and seeking vengeance if those reasons are unsatisfactory. Removing current taboos existing in culture, and promoting the use of artifice. Research the Old Technology thoroughly and not only achieve similar heights but surpass it with a combination of Arcana and Technology: Magitek. Alter society for the better with new technologies and engineering. If necessary, destroy the Godhunter. Seek immortality to achieve goals within reasonable timeframe, as a human's lifespan isnt enough. Research if history is true and not been altered to suit the victors. If necessary, engineer the return of the gods or become ascendant.
