Galenus Grimwave

Sir Galenus Grimwave is a knight who served in the court of King Hadyn Thonwyr. He is a man of mixed Summerling/Kalrentai heritage, and he is widely considered the King’s champion. He has quested to the four corners of the Seven Kingdoms, and he is generally liked by all, having even won the respect of the Goblinoids of Gristamere.

He is an implacable foe of Orcs, and he had looked forward to aiding Crown Prince Harbryn Thonwyr in his campaign to retake Sudwaine. Unfortunately age and injury robbed him of the chance to fight in this campaign, but his daughter, Dame Laurena Grimwave, followed the Prince to battle. To make it worse, he was felled by magic while trying to protect the King from The Five Who Call. His guilt remains, although Harbryn still keeps him close as an advisor and friend.
