Daria Havengard

Daria Havengard is the daughter of Anathar and Ivala Havengard and is their oldest child. She’s the older sister of Ezelan and Kidalis.
Daria has become an excellent sword-fighter, but she also demonstrates a knack for the arcane, sometimes blending the two into a unique fighting-style reminiscent of Swordmagic. She holds many of her father’s favorite virtues – respect, valor, discipline – in high esteem. She is protective of her younger brothers, especially Kidalis. She fully intends to take over her father’s mercenary company of Haven's Guard when he finally retires.
Daria has made a name for herself in the military of Summerlund as well. During the War of the Three Heads , she rose to the rank of Lieutenant, commanding a group of soldiers, including members of the Haven’s Guard, in addition to others. She was given command of Brokenwall Keep, a strategically important locale. When she captured Lurgrak, son of the Orc warlord Gruzhgarn, the Keep was besieged, and Daria was wounded. Thanks to her training, however, and the timely intervention of her younger brother Kidalis and rest of the Fire Wasps, the siege was broken, and Gruzhgarn was slain. This led to her being raised to the rank of Captain. After the war wound down, she returned home to Barwych to be with her family and mourn her youngest brother.
In 1081 SKR, she led a company of the Haven's Guard to the Battle of Worldbreaker's Howe, where they aquitted themselves well. She recognized, however, that the battle would have been lost without the Fire Wasps, and she began to believe that Adventurers could sometimes do what an entire army could not. In 1090 SKR, she founded the Guardians of the Havens, an Adventurer's Guild based out of Barwych. In this manner, she can honor her late brother's memory and use the gold that was given to them in his name to help spread good deeds throughout Aldorath.
