Breaker's Day

Celebrated on the 5th day of Carolan throughout Aldorath, Breaker's Day commemorates the epic events of the Battle of Worldbreaker's Howe, when the Fire Wasps and the allied forces of the The Fourth Conclave of the Seven Kingdoms fought the Tarrasque and the armies marshaled by the Five Who Call. It is generally a solemn observation, marking the loss of so much life, but it also marks a time when many differences were set aside to unite against a common enemy. It is not widely celebrated in Tavanion as it marks the death of Prince Belerion ap Kadishai and Queen Maraliana ap Kadishai's decision to withdraw most Eladrin into the Feywild. In Aiyolhast, however, it is a large celebration of their independence from the Orcish Hordes, and in Varrenholm , it is celebrated for the protection of Greathome and the beginning of their development into a Protectorate.

In Worldbreaker's Howe, it's quite a celebration, often featuring a tournament, booths, dancing, games, puppet shows, and more. A local specialty are called Tarrasque Tarts. They are a meat pie with a combination of ground meats (beef, pork, and veal) along with a thick gravy and dried fruits.
