Khadir al-Farid, a towering figure with electric-blue eyes and robes embroidered with stormclouds, is one of the most revered members of the Bahtim. Known as the Stormcaller, he uses his mastery of atmospheric magic to regulate Fluidan’s weather, ensuring bountiful harvests and protecting the nation from natural disasters.

Born during a violent desert storm, Khadir was seen as a harbinger of chaos. His early affinity for summoning rain and controlling winds earned him the trust of his village but also drew suspicion. The Bahtim recognized his potential and brought him under their wing, where he became a vital force in stabilizing Fluidan's climate. Khadir's efforts have saved the nation from drought and famine numerous times, making him beloved by the populace.

Khadir reveres Sultan Lago as a living connection to Fluidan’s spiritual and cultural roots. He believes the Sultan’s presence inspires loyalty and strength among the people, complementing the Bahtim’s governance. Khadir often speaks of the Sultan with almost poetic admiration.
