Glacierbreaker Maul

The Glacierbreaker Maul is a massive maul carved from the glaciers of Uthurg and bound with blackened steel. This weapon was forged in the fires of a forge powered by Kydren Skybreaker. As such is shimmers with inner crimson light, and leaves a trail of frost in the air.

While you are wielding this maul, and are attuned to it, attacks with it provide the following benefits:

• Attacks with this weapon deal an additional 2d6 fire damage.
• On a critical hit dealt with this weapon, the target must succeed on a DC 16 Strength saving throw, or be frozen solid (paralyzed) for one minute. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each turn, ending the effect on a success.
• The maul can shatter nonmagical ice or frost with ease, as it deals double damage to non-magical ice.

Proficiency with a Maul allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
