Elvish Pantheon

Elvish Gods

  • Eziok – The Old God, father of both Gwilith and Erat. His domains include creation, creativity, and honor. Where Sky (Zayu) and Land (Erat) meet, there is "Man," which refers to all living beings that move on the surface of Toivoa, including beasts of burden and humanoids. Eziok is believed to be dead.
  •
  • Gwilith (AKA Zayu) – The Maiden Goddess, Gwilith is the goddess of the Moon, love, passion, secret trysts in the dark, and other positive themes related to darkness. She appears as a young Elven woman, often riding on the back of a giant wolf named Ryuzane. She wears a crown of green shoots that have not bloomed and is associated with an all-women secret society called The Sable Mysteries.
  •
  • Arryn – The Mother Goddess, Arryn is the goddess of the Earth, flora, harvest, fertility, family, and related domains. She appears as a mature Elven woman wearing a crown of flowers and often carries a cornucopia brimming with food.
  •
  • Sinaht – The Elder Goddess, Sinaht appears as an elderly, blind Elvish woman, slightly bowed with age, wearing a crown of withered brambles. She is the goddess of magic, endings, death, and wisdom. Though blind, she is said to see all.
  •
  • Emel-O-Emel – The god of beauty, the sun, light, passion, the arts, and other bright, positive things. He appears as a handsome young Elven man, often riding a flaming chariot pulled by gryphons.
  •
  • Erat – The Father God, Erat is the god of the sky, fauna, craftsmen, family, and the home. He often appears as a mature Elvish man with a cape of owl feathers and hands marred by various crafts—sometimes soot from the forge, or calluses from carpentry.
  •
  • Tanathil – The Eldest Male God, Tanathil appears as an elderly, hooded Elvish man who carries a book with infinite pages and an owl quill, with which he transcribes all knowledge. He is the god of magic, endings, death, and knowledge.
