Ijwavya-Kuwvyana War

Conflict erupted in the north west when Kuwvyana invaded the outlying islands of Ijwavya, ostensibly to restore the deposed monarchy of the country. A difficult 8 year war ensued for control of the islands, with Ijwavya's continental neighbours coming to their aid. At war's end, Kuwvyana retained all but one of the islands, but acknowledged Ijwavya's democracy as the legitimate government.
