The Flag

The flag of Ijwavya consists of three oblique bands which radiate from the bottom hoist corner of the flag. The hoist-most band is blue, the next is white, and the fly-side band is black. This latter band does not travel at a smooth diagonal, instead proceeding in 'steps' towards the upper fly corner.   The blue band represents the sky, and the white the bright future. The steps in the black band represent the gradually steeper hills and mountains of the country's east, as well as the steps and effort required to achieve the aforementioned future.
