Tasha Koroleva
CW: Depression
Tasha Koroleva (she/her) is a character played by Keiran (she/they) in The Foe of Many Faces Returns, a side quest campaign of the aftermath of the fiction book, The Foe of Many Faces. She is a level 10 light cleric of Lathander, a variant human, and an acolyte.
Description
Tasha is about 6’1, with short wavy ginger hair. She always has a bright smile on her face, and she had freckles. Her eyes are a golden brown. She tends to wear a lot of white and yellow, and has yellow sunburst markings that she paints around her eyes in honor of Lathander. She’s pretty muscular, but not in a bulky way, and tends to be wearing metal armor. The armor is marked with the symbol of Lathander, a sunrise, and is mostly silver with golden accents that reflect the light more than their silver counterparts. Tasha is an upbeat person, tends not to have a bad thing to say about anyone. She’s fiercely protective of those she cares about, and will do anything to keep them safe. She’s incredibly dedicated to Lathander, praying to them upon the sunrise to wish them good morning, and also saying her goodbyes to them for the night in prayer as well. She’s very vocal about how she believes all creatures are good until they prove otherwise through their actions, and has a particular disdain for the anti-changeling rhetoric that has been spread at the king’s behest.Backstory
Tasha grew up in one of the smaller farming towns outside of Acropolis, Lathanton. Lathander is the patron god of the town, praised for being the nourishment for the crops, and most people are very devoted to him as their main god. When she was young, Tasha often prayed her good mornings and her good nights as she does now, and one day, Lathander answered. In the wee hours of the morning, he bestowed the gift of healing upon the 18 year old acolyte, saying she was to be a pillar of light in the darkness ahead. At least, that’s the story she tells if anyone asks. It’s been repeated so many times throughout the past decade that it’s been solidified as fact, and only Tasha knows the truth of the situation, whatever that may be. Stories spread about the humble cleric of Lathander, a folk hero amongst the town, and in searching for her purpose, a more solid answer of what darkness she was supposed to fight, she went adventuring. Eventually, she met her party, and the rest is history. The one person she had throughout her young years, pre-cleric, was Cassia Cosades (see: The Foe of Many Faces Returns NPCs), younger sister of Pius Cosades. Though Tasha has never been good at articulating her feelings, and especially not into word nevertheless thought, the best way to describe her feelings about Cassia is unrequited love. They are very close, and she would do anything for Cassia. Cassia also once taught her to speak Minotaur. When "The Foe of Many Faces" published, Tasha was, for lack of better words, distraught. She found solace in Cassia's apartment, not having to hide her feelings, and at the same time, being able to hide from the rest of the world. For many months after publication, she simply laid on Cassia's couch in her apartment, an empty husk of the person she used to be. Cassia took care of her in those times, and Tasha owes so much to her. She could never repay her for what she's done to help her.Trivia
