Little City

Inspired by Redwall and Ga'hoole, Little City is a small, isolated forest town populated entirely by sentient woodland creatures, located in The Redwillow Forest. A group of owls founded the city and serve as its government. Non-forest folk are deeply distrusted, but none more than humans and elves. There was initially a reason for this distrust, but no one alive remembers it. Every denizen of Little City has a different reason they distrust the tall ones, though.
Years and years ago, an archfey passed through where Little City would once be to rest. They were on their way to The Elemental Plane of Earth to deliver a jar of energy from the Elemental Plane of Air. The jar spilled while the archfey was sleeping, and all the woodland creatures thereby gained sentience. Since then, it's become a common vacation destination for the fey, especially those of the Seelie Court. Sylvan has become a minority language in little city; the primary language is Auran, the language of the Elemental Plane of Air.
