Greater Deities

Boros - God of Light, the Sun and ruler of Elysium

Chief god of the Pantheon, he is the most beloved by humans, halflings and most races that reside within the regions of man. Seen by most as the god that will lead them to salvation from the Harrowing. His burning light will incerate the evil and guide the devoted into a new world.

Cadon - God of Order, Law and Justice

In a world where chaos as all but taken over the lands the God of Order stands firm. The brother of Bellona is equally respected and fear by mortals, Cadon is the embodiment of everything the world used to be. His followers strive to bring that past back, trusting that Cadon's law will save this broken world.

Bellona - Goddes of War, Strategy and Tactics

During the fracturing of the Kingdom of Poillers, the War of Elves and Men and the Draconic Wars was where Bellona earned her status as a Greater Deity. The need for war will never end and so Bellona power and standing never wanes. Every warrior, mercenary or peasant with a spear has prayed to her in the heat of battle.

Vuna - Goddess of the Night, Guidance and the Moon

The wife of Boros and parallel, she dedicates herself to guiding mortals and safeguarding them during times of darkness. The mortals look up to her in their times of need, praying that Vuna will care for them while her husband leads them to salvation

Ceres - Goddess of Healing, Fertility and Life

Mother of all the Pantheon, humans and halflings, she cares for all her children in kind. The mortals pray to her when they need ailment, healthy children and for a long life. She was married to Orcus who fathered several of her godly children, when he was god of the Grave. However after Dispater usurped his throne she is now married to him who fathered the rest of her children.

Hecate - God of Magic and the Realms

The god which brought the gift of magic to humans and halflings. He is old, wise and strict about the laws of magic bestowed upon mortals. Despite not being the creator of magic Hecate believes that it must be controlled and limited. Any who try to exceed the limits he sets on magic will feel the wrath of Hecate and his followers.

Lesser Deities

Diana - Goddess of Protection and Twilight.

Diana cares for all mortal lives and extends her protection to all innocent lifeforms. Despite her benevolence she does not have a high following of worshippers. Many mortals feel that she failed to protect them from the Harrowing. Yey she still remains, persistent in her duty to protect mortals from the dark evils of the world.

Vulcan - God of Invention and the Forge

The stubborn inventor god brought the knowledge of creation to the humans and halflings. His gift allowed them to craft sophisticated roads, cities, weapons, armour, alchemy and to become powerful enough to rival elves and longzhu. He always seeks to create new inventions to gift his followers.

Tempestas - God of Seas and Storms

Loved and feared by fishermen and sailours alike. Tempestas can make a life at sea either calm and joyous or violent and treacherous. His mood is as fickle as the sea he commands, if an offering isn't quite up to his standards that day a storm is almost certain to wrack the waves.

Orcus - God of Death and ruler of Hades

Once a powerful deity that guided the souls of the dead to their resting places and former husband of Ceres. Now a bitter and resentful god of death, ruling over the Underworld. Father to Boros, Tempestas, Vulcan, Laverna, Bellona and Cadon. Corrupted by the souls of evil, twisted individuals he now rules over their resting place.

Dispater - God of the Grave and Passing of Souls

Formerly the god of Peace before he usurped the corrupt Orcus of his position and his wife Ceres. Now the god of Graves tends to the souls of those who died, innocent good souls go to Elysium while the wicked and evil go to the Underworld. He is father to Vuna, Diana, Hecate, Faunus, Minerva and Pax who inherited his former domain. He is widely honoured by mortals wishing their loved ones safe passage to the afterlife.

Pax - Goddess of Peace and Unity

Youngest of all the Pantheon, Pax is always striving to end the conflicts between not just mortals but also her family. Constantly at odds with her older sister Bellona, trying to end the wars she helps the humans to start. Deeply loved by her mother and father, Pax will often always triumph in the end

Faunus - God of Nature, Animals and Farming

Watching over his dominion of nature within the human realms. Faunus despises what his brothers and sisters have allowed the mortals to do to nature. Besides his mother Faunus shows only love for his sister Pax, working with her to bring an end to the destruction the other gods bring. So that one day humans and nature can live side by side.

Laverna - Goddess of Trickery, Luck and Lies

Favoured by thieves, charlatans, gamblers and merchants. Laverna embraces the unbridled chaos and freedom of the mortal realms. Always playing tricks on her fellow siblings, favourite of her father Orcus and hated by her brother Cadon. Laverna shows little interest in the godly duties the others pride themselves in. She just wants to have fun.

Minerva - Goddess of Knowledge and Wisdom

Honoured in ever library, archive, school and university, Minerva bestowed upon humans and halflings her gift of knowledge. The advancements of both races can be acredited to her gifts. She has a strong bond with many of her brothers, sisters and mother, for it is knowledge and learning that allows the mortal races to use the gifts of the other gods.

Virtus - God of Strength, Bravery and Virtue

Virtus orginally was the god of martial prowess and courage extending his hand towards brave warriors and heroes but overtime he came to understand that virtue is just as important as strength and courage, he believes in an equal balance and belief in the four main virtues of man. Practical wisdom, utilising ones wisdom or intelligence to practical affect in order to conduct good judgement and excellence of character. Justice, the understanding of a good moral code and how to act upon it. Temperance, to understand ones limits and not to over indulge. Valor, the willingness to confront fear and danger with a confident clear mind.
