Halfling
These short folk closely related to humans have spread themselves across the lowlands of Tír Suaimhnis. With a remarkable apptitude for living off the land, halfling hamlets, farms and shires are scattered all over. They are quite possibly the most accepted race in all of Tír Suaimhnis, having waged no wars, ruled no empires or kingdoms and generally just been friendly and welcoming to all other races. Which means you find halflings all across the world, they mostly prefer rural country living but some do move into larger towns and cities. Their friendly and carefree nature makes them lot's of friends, but also leads to quite a few halflings being taken advantage of. Sadly a lot of city halfings end up as servants, footmen or being paid less that average for their employ.
Despite their height and friendly nature, halflings should not be taken lightly. They are possibly the bravest of all the races in Tír Suaimhnis. Willing to take on any challenge no matter the risk, and end up succeding more often than not. This has led to the belief that halflings are naturally lucky folk. Though they are homebodies who enjoy the comfort of their large families and homes, halflings do love an adventure or two. Go into any tavern or town square and your likely to find a few halflings sharing stories of deeds they've done, or scouring a bounty board for the next quest.
