The Ice Gate - original
The Ice Gate is the only way in or out of Skyretaine Castle. Crafted long ago from enchanted ice, you had better hope you have permission to use it, because if you jump through that gate when it's locked, you'll fall to your doom off the cliff!
Note: After Moriath's defeat, a new Ice Gate is crafted.
The gate itself was made of sparkling ice that matched the castle. It twisted and curved in a way that was both artistic and organic. But just beyond the gate, a few inches from my toes, the ground fell away in a dizzying drop.

Moriath and Oonagh’s mother crafted it centuries ago under contract for Niamh’s grandfather, the Unseelie king at that time. If she left any loopholes, she didn’t confide in me about them.
