The Ice Gate - New
After the original Ice Gate melts, Liadan, Audrey, Clíodhna, and Amber work together to craft a new one. This gate sits in the courtyard of Skyretaine and features antlers and small animals carved from enchanted ice, and sparkles with feathers of frost.
When the asrai had returned home to take down Moriath’s dams and rebuild their villages, they had sent a gift of ice from their enchanted waters. Liadan, Audrey, Clíodhna, and Amber had all worked together to craft a new gate from the ice. It stood in the courtyard, between blooming apple trees, at the end of a path of stepping stones etched with the emblem of owls in flight. had carved an elegant arch of antlers traced with gold. The whole structure sparkled with feathers of frost, and sparkling floating crystals drifted around it like the Frost Gate by the cottage.
“Frost for my mother,” Niamh had requested, along with a variety of small iced animals perched on the antlers. “For my father,” she had said.
Niamh had cried when she had seen the finished gate, still mourning the parents that were only a child’s memories. But now, she was bursting with excitement. - The Frost Gate

“Come on, come on!” Niamh bounced impatiently in front of the newly crafted Ice Gate.
