Bronach's Bracelet

A gold bracelet that Moriath gave to her sister Bronach to allow her to unlock any Unseelie gates. Audrey steals the bracelet and a map of the gates from Bronach's cabin, which allows her and Gavin to remain on the run, a step ahead of Moriath's wolves and the Huntsman.

From The Books:

Because here was the thing: it wasn’t enough that the gate practically sat in the witch’s yard. It was also locked. Yes, apparently magic faerie gates could be—and usually were—locked to keep people from stumbling about between realms. Or to keep stolen children from running home. We needed that key. Not only was it our only hope of escaping through the Lichen Gate, but it would also make it harder for Bronach to move freely through the human world. She could open her own gate without it, but the key allowed her to use all the unseelie gates in the human realm and Tír na nÓg at will.

A quick peek inside revealed a golden band, big enough to slide up my arm, and a rolled piece of parchment.

I’d forgotten about the key in all that had happened after stealing it. I pulled the leather bag from my pocket and tipped its contents onto the table. A piece of parchment tied with a leather cord, the gold bracelet, and a spill of tiny diamonds. I guessed diamonds were a universal currency. I hadn’t set out to be a jewel thief, but I certainly wasn’t going to return them.
“This is the key?” I picked up the bracelet. It hummed lightly in my hands, with more of those glowing patterns I was starting to expect with magical objects.
“It is. It was a gift from the Unseelie Queen to her sister. It will unlock any unseelie gate in Faerie or in your world.”

Standing in front of the arched doorway, I held the golden bracelet in one hand and pictured the glowing star on the map. With a deep breath, I stepped through.

In the time it took me to blink, I stood on a platform staring at a towering castle of ice.
