Anthony Nesrick

Dean of Theoretical Magic Anthony Nesrick comes from the Empire. From a formerly prominent family, he found his ability with magic quickly outpaced his ability know when to use it wisely. The Arcaneum quickly realized it was wisest to put his tower further away from the rest of the college to protect it from the experimental magics that he would attempt and the various explosions that would sometimes come from his tower.
While he created many new ideas in magic, he could also create many new disasters. Thus when he decided to join the Nebula Nexus there were many in the Arcaneum who breathed a sigh of relief thinking he might manage to blow himself up further away and not take their college with him.
