The Fall of the Giants

The Uluran civilization of the Giants falls, all members of the race dying off or disappearing almost overnight. Few traces of the cause remained and any who were close enough to know what could have caused the mass destruction of the giants either died along with them or kept strict secrecy. The ruins of their empire of stone and sand remain, inhabited by the smaller races that had acted as servants and slaves during the height of their rule. The few whispers of the fate of the giants that escaped the continent point to the Stonewyrm as the instigator, but the how and why is never revealed. Symbolism showing the sun and stars dot much of the leftover architecture in the ruins, but nowhere is the stonewyrm itself actually referenced.
