Mazeremse (Mah-zeer-im-zee)

Memories of a Lost God- Mazere's Woe   A terraced labyrinth of gardens and wild plants free of predators. The stone is cracked and covered in vines but still sturdy. Worn pictograms of constellations wind through the walls and tell stories of an age long past. The center of the labrynth is decorated by a spiraling draconic figure curling in on itself to rest with its head in the direct center, its jaws cradeling a lense of some sort that perfectly reflects the night sky no matter what is done to it. At night gentle pulses of golden energy travel across all of the aformentioned pictograms and act out their stories in simple motions, while the dragon's lense appears to house a familiar form within that twists amongst the stars it reflects.   Once a place of worship, this peculiar holy site stands strong against the corruption of the Stone Wyrm Cult around it. All but the barest hint of this being has been obliterated from the world and yet this hint keeps the whisperer at bay and lends hope and healing to any that enter the grounds with pure intention. The far-flung nature of the site limits the visitors to a handfull of Uleran natives that uphold the tribal past of their culture and make a pilgrimage out to the ruin at specific times of the celestial calendar.   In truth, this place holds the last shred of what was once a benign god of stars and cycles that upheld the balance within their world. It was torn asunder in ages past and the part that made away with the most power is currently known as the Stone Wyrm. The unspoiled core of what was this beings past incarnation lies within a self-made prison in exile, watching what its alter self has wrought and using what little influence it still carries to hold the threads of the world together in a weave that repels the worst of the Stone Wyrm's power but keeps it in a constant state of near death that not even its sibling deities can break lest the world be torn asunder. Its other self once waged a campaign against itself that left the land of Uluro barren and scarred. This only ended upon the sealing and the forces of the Wyrm still actively try to move against it regularly. The chosen people of the former skygod try to contain this as best as they can, while maintaining an illusion of ignorance to dissuade their invaders.
