The Stonewyrm Cult

The Stonewyrm Cult is a secretive group that has roots in most major countries in Tipana. The everyday members are victims of the cult's induction and general brainwashing, as with most such groups. The mid-range cultists are zealots with an illusion of a 'grand new order' with their god freed from his confinement to destroy all that the children of the other gods have created, leaving the world for his faithful. Those higher up actively hear the Wyrm's voice, making them see corruption everywhere and convincing them that he is the only one that can cleanse it. The Whispering of the Wyrm can affect anyone, but most seek religious intervention to cure themselves of it without ever really knowing its source. Others embrace it. They are driven mad by these whispers, even going so far as to imbibe a caustic solution in their lord's name that will kill the host, birthing an abomination from their bodies. The highest ranking member of the cult is the Stone Priest, Abalandre Norux of the Frostlands- formerly from Ulero.
