He appears as either a large wolf, or a Anthro-Canine humanoid man.
He is known to make pacts with dying men who have what he calls "The Beast Spirit". Those he makes pacts with must hunt for him in return for power and continued life. He treats it like a pack, with him as the Alpha.
Due to the amount of destruction Zan-To-Fu caused several beasts and animals went extinct, and many more killed. To Nuvox this made it personal and he began assisting in the creation of The Prophecy of 3.
