Veneficus Swamp

Veneficus Swamp is actually a densely forested peat bog. There is more decaying life than living life, and yet, the soil is said to be rich with nutrients.

Geography

Because the Venificus Swamp is a decay pit, many sentient species avoid the area. The swamp leaches many pockets of poisonous gas.

• Many varieties of poisonous plants like: belladonna, foxglove, and mistletoe

• Parasaurolophus
• Small rodents
• Bobcats
• Small insect-eating birds

Natural Resources

Very little here is used due to the poisonous nature of the swamp. The Parasaurolophus that roam here and the surrounding areas have adapted to eating many of the poisonous plants, and their sense of smell is acute enough to detect the pockets of poisonous gas before harm is caused. The humans and dwarves in the area have domesticated them and use them as mounts to cross the swamp.
