Tianxia 天下

The Laws of Tianxia 天下

1. There are types of Magik that exist in this world, which will be based on the Daoist idea of "magic," combined with some Western concepts depending on where the Magik persons are from.   2. The land of Tianxia is not really based in one specific "time" and time itself works differently.

Cosmology

The Dance of the Phoenix and the Dragon

In the beginning, there was only the Void. Within this Void, one Phoenix of radiant light and one Dragon of purest black danced an eternal dance. Their movements stirred the Void, creating ripples and waves of energy. These energies coalesced into the physical world, shaped by their dance. The golden Phoenix's upward spirals created the heavens, the sun, and the forces of growth and life (Yang 阳). The obsidian Dragon's downward sweeps formed the earth, the moon, and the forces of decay and death (Yin 阴). Their intertwined dance created the complex interplay of Yin and Yang in the world, a dance that continues to this day in the cycles of nature and the human heart.

Principal Geography & Features

Tianxia's geography is a tapestry woven with artistic brilliance, reminiscent of ancient Chinese paintings that come to life. The land unveils undulating landscapes, where gentle rolling hills adorned with delicate peach blossoms evoke the tranquility of classical art. Serene rivers meander through this canvas, their mirrored surfaces reflecting the graceful pagodas that dot the shorelines, infusing the environment with a sense of harmony.   Amongst the natural splendor lie hidden Daoist sanctuaries, concealed within lush bamboo groves. These enclaves not only provide a sanctuary for meditation and spiritual introspection but also pulsate with cosmic energies that resonate with the teachings of the universe. Meanwhile, towering mystical mountains shrouded in ethereal mist serve as monumental symbols, seamlessly blurring the boundaries between tangible reality and the mythical realm.   At the heart of this mesmerizing world, Confucus and Buddhist temples stand tall and proud, acting as intellectual nuclei where scholars and monks gather to decipher enigmatic universe scripts. These structures embody both a reverence for the past and a pursuit of knowledge, as they become conduits between the temporal and the transcendent.   The world is connected through a series of bridges, some easier to find than others.   Small humble villages teeming with life are also found spread across the rich and vertile areas of the land, often along the river sides. Some are more difficult to reach than others.   Five imperial palaces (North, South, East, West, and Center) are also points of interest, with populated cities bubbling around them, as well as culture, an influx of domestic and foreign goods, and other darker secrets.   Among all of this, lush flora and diverse fauna stretch across the landscape, some more familar than others.   In Tianxia, geography becomes an extension of culture, where the interplay between nature's beauty and human wisdom creates an enchanting symphony for both the eye and the mind.

Initial Active Setting
